I was going to pay with the good old wallet as usual but as soon as I reached the order page the puto malparido yellow error popped up and everything got automatically insta-converted. Same as Areius Razz

Yup, the existing wallet funds were instantaneously converted to the new currency and the payment method was removed as well. I made a test purchase out of curiosity and thankfully nothing was blocked, I just have to live inside Gaben's €urovision store.

My recent purchase on Argentina Steam store is with using Steam Wallet, and I used a CC from my own country (US) a few weeks ago to refill wallet. No VPN.

Anyone here sold a game on Steam before?

Did you get the dozens of emails from different 'curators', reviewers etc asking for keys?

Obviously a lot of them are scams, I just don't understand all of the effort for what MIGHT result in a few dollars. Some have ~30k followers and want multiple keys. But what do they do with them? Put them for sale somewhere? Can't imagine it's worth it.

All have gmail addresses, all are similarly worded, and checking ANY of them shows their 'reviews' are one liners that are usually full of garbage.

I wish Steam would kill the curator system

If it's someone with a solid following they might simply want them for a giveaway, though asking for keys other than a review key is a bit crude.

Hmm, I'd be spamming the keys out at a cutoff point of subscribers. If they can get even 5% of subscribers to buy a copy it's very much worth it.

30k - 2 keys = 1500 keys sold. Even at a 2% think this was the scam caller hit rate it's still worth it. 500 keys.
