combat looks floaty, UI and gameplay look like copy pasta, just yet another reskin, at this point there is no hope ill ever enjoy another tw game and play one on a new engine ... bet they have a dozen more reskins planned
i think the only time i enjoyed sieges was in shogun two as u could climb the castle walls and there was no real city grid to cross, all others where DISASTROUS

Looks like a Saga game they “promoted” to a full historical title, maybe removing some supernatural elements, that make the game feel like something is missing. Also small scope. And full of AI bugs. But I’m sure they focus on fixing those for the next game! For realz this time.

It won't be a tragedy if no more Total War games are made – definitely not by following the current trend CA has been setting. The series has been stale since Warhammer II, anyway. And the histroy titles way before that.

I like the total war series (even though i hardly ever play them) but they really are milking it atm.. imo they should try and come up with something now. I don't mean they have to change into another game, but perhaps start thinking about what new mechanics they could add rather than settings.
