Nah, unless you really liked it and want another playthrough on a better engine + some extra stuff !

Never played the series, I've been mistaking it with Cry of Fear so far Laughing Seems decent/okay but pretty flawed ?

All the endless waves of horror tropes in this series of games alongside their basic design and cheap jump "scares" formed a poor combo for me that no technical overhaul can really revamp. Razz The result was nowhere near as captivating or interesting as the masters of the first-person horror walking sim genre such as Alien Isolation, Frictional's titles, Outlast and so on.

The only Blooberian game of this type that I've liked so far is Observer - which still suffered from the aforementioned limitations, but it felt cohesive and nicely put together both in terms of storytelling and actual atmosphere.

I tried the demo and it's barely more than a walking simulator with the minimal amount of interaction on offer. It's also very much on the fantastic side of horror, everything's just weird and supernatural all the time and I find that I like my horror more grounded.

Played it.

It's a very... 'average' experience.

This type of horror is the fucking worst. "it was all in your head!" Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

it's just the cheapest way to make horror because nothing needs to make any kind of sense and they can get away with doing whatever. so lame.

Reviews are so so. I've played the first game and liked it but it seems the follow-ups aren't up to the same level.

Meh, I keep encountering a bug that prevents you from walking up stairs and you have to go down and then up over and over until it allows you to advance, and for the 2nd time I'm stuck on furniture after a specific scripted sequence.

Others are reporting the same issues, so hopefully they'll release a fix soon.

"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty
