Halo 1 was a bad game. looked bad, played bad. very mediocre for pc standards at the time.
Halo 2 will most probably be even worse. Keep it on the xbox. we don't want your ported shite.

He, like I'm gonna pay money to be a beta tester for their bugged Vista when it comes out. Why don't they just stay in one market and do at least one thing proper? And whenever they manage to make smth that is actually good (like wheels, joysticks and gamepads) they take it off the market. Bah, M$ sucks.

They only release it to promote Halo 3 and make people buy an fuckbox360. The only reason the Halo games are a success is because that's about the only FPS game that works reasonably well on a console.
We have better FPS games on PC, so the console kids can keep that crap.

Yeah have to agree with the boys here...they can keep the pure crap for they're consoles.
The remarcable thing about Halo 1 was the soundtrack...I loved it...I guess that kept me from uninstaling the fucking game and playing it through to the end.
FPS and RTS games are the PC battlefied.
As for MS ,the cock suckers did it again to the PC gaming comunity(after buying Bungie and releasing Halo initially on the XBOX -> when it should have been on the PC).And wtf do I need Vista to run Halo 2 for? Is it going to use DX10 features?!....by the looks of it,it doesn't even use DX9.
You got to hand to MS->they know how to ass rape you in the worst possible position.

Microsoft are the sleeziest in getting people to buy their bullshit, its so ridiculous. I know its cliche to even say that but thats just because its true. Ah well, Im ok without an OS thats eats up all my cpu power just to run. Halo2 is just Halo with extra shit anyway. They can shove both Halo and Vista up their ass holes.

one less game to worry about. Seriously I think Vista is at least a year or more from being stable. The latest build was ubercrap. I hope microtrash gets it act together or this will be one OS they will be happy to forget in a hurry.

I remember the same thing. Ran like crap, even though other new games ran fine.

I played Halo and I found nothing special about this game, outcluding rather poor performance of the game and kinda boring scenery... If Vista is going to be similar in it's reactions to XP than firstly they should release whole dvd with ptaches for it... since for the very first few weeks new OS will be just useless... :\

I'm gonna buy Vista for much less than you can get it in the store. My friend's wife works at Microsoft South Africa and she can get it for cheap cheap. I believe she said something like R160...that translates to R160/6.25 = $25.60.
So I don't mind paying that for an operating system...even if it is buggy in the beginning. By the way I agree Halo 1 sucked ass and so will Halo 2.

What a bunch of whiny anti-MS wankers
1.) To the person who complained that Vista will be "full of DRM"... Calm down. It SUPPORTS DRMs but does not require them. Just as every OS will if it wants to be able to use Blu-Ray or HD DVD... Blame them, not MS. Fools.
2.) To those people calling MS greedy: It is a corporation who's two jobs are A.) To provide a product to the customer and everything that goes with that, and B.) To earn money. What the hell is wrong with encouraging an OS upgrade by requiring a game to use it? I'd point out that the shit apple does is FAR worse. If you can't think of several fucked up things Apple has done, then you don't need to be in this argument.
3.) To those of you who claim Open Source is the next Messiah: Grow up. Sure it's free, and pretty stable, and maybe even more efficient, but please. Given the number of people who know how to use it, the lack of support for many games and apps, etc etc, it simply isn't worth it.. FOR MANY USERS. For you and others who use it, that's great. But don't try to force your own opinions down our throats.
