I actually found the film to be quite decent and even good in certain parts but that maybe because I compared it to "Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness". How could an indie film with a fraction of the budget showcase the concept of the multiverse better than a stupidly expensive Marlol film Laughing Laughing

1 and 2 are still amazing.

Tetris.

Good actors but the story is very 1-note throughout the entire movie.

"we have the contract!", "oh no! we don't have the contract!", "they have the contract!", "does ATARI have a contract?", "they lie about the contract!", "yay! we have the contract!", "oh no, we don't have the contract..." etc etc etc

after a while it gets rather tedious. weak 6/10

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves(2023) 7/10

The movie actually surprised me, it was way better than I imagined. It was funny and had some heartfelt moments here and there. Not a big fan on Michelle Rodriguez, but she was alright in this since she fit her role quite nicely.

Get A Job(2016) 3/10

Decided to watch a comedy flick and boy did this disappoint.
Don't think it was funny at all, but I'll give a few points for Bryan Cranston.

M3GAN: 6/10

Okay story, poor writing (the dialogue is horrible) and the character design/development is naff. Popcorn flick without much depth. M3GAN was obviously the only important thing in this movie. Very uncanny valley and creepy.

Decent lighthearted Sci-Fi.

Dungeons and Dragons: Honor sth Thieves - 7.5/10
It was pretty light, laid back adventure flick for all. Don't expect a lot and you will be satisfied. Pretty self aware, the practical fx and some cgi were pretty shit to the point of being done so purposefully.

Renfield. Eh. I liked most of the combat scenes, they were funny and i laughed maybe twice.
I hate to use the word cringe, but yes, way too much of the dialogue and story is just that. Nic Cage is good, but he's never funny / quirky, he's just rather ordinary evil Dracula. He has maybe 15 mins of screen time.
Overall a very, very forgettable movie.

Sicario (2015) - 8/10
I like the rawness of this one. Great score by Jóhann Jóhannsson as well.

Sicario: Day of the Soldado (2018) - 6/10
Decent sequel that doesn't really reach the greatness of the first one.

The Pope's Exorcist
6/10 -- starts out okayish, some of the dialogues are alright, and Crowe acts well throughout, but then it goes downhill fast and turns silly in the 2nd half of the movie.

Last Seen Alive
5/10 -- nothing remarkable about this one.

Gonna rewatch No Country for Old Men at the weekend to wash away all of this crap.

Renfield - 4.5/10

Nicholas Cage is great in this one, proper level of cheese in his performance with mandatory scream scene(tm). The action, the gore, some dialogues are great but than...
there's the script, the story. The idea was sound but then someone thought well let's get Awkwafina plot in the story too - and that's shit. It's like watching two stories stiched together by spit and bubblegum. Sad

Popes Exorcist: 4 or 5/10, it's a pretty bad movie and I like these kinds of movies. Russel Crowe's accent didn't work for me. It's effectively a film full of all the tropes you would expect to see in one of these films, character and story are weak and the last 3rd almost laughable.

Russel Crowe in Unhinged is more fun that this if you didn't see it.
