By the time the MAJORITY of gamers will afford to play this at MAX settings, with ALL RT/Path Tracing effects enabled, keeping +60 FPS... Cyberpunk NEXT GAME will be out and have it's own NEW tech 'next-gen' features...

If you set the proper expectations and deliver a branching narrative really well with the tools you have, there would be no drama tied to a title. Who the fuck cares about fade to black or animation tricks other than absurdly picky youtubers scrounging the bottom for shit to bitch about.
The problem is overpromising and really really under delivering. Even if it's a decent game, it's not what it was hyped to be.
I'd be perfectly content with a branching well delivered narrative regardless of technical limitations and visual tricks. The whole industry is smoke and mirrors budgeting your tricks is part of it.

Why won't these cheeky bastards INNOVATE on existing hardware, by improving, you know... the damn SOFTWARE and allowing MORE people to use / benefit from these "new" tech features.
