I’m hearing the game was downgraded and that the gore system isn’t as detailed in the retail release as it is in the IGN video. Wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest but I hope that’s not the case.
Game does not gain any extra performance after 6 cores / 6 threads, I knew it that it won't require a fucking 12 core / 24 thread CPU, is it in the recommended requirements just to sell CPUs?

Well the requirements were pretty iffy from the start. Why would 4K 60fps require more CPU power than 1080p 60fps?

So weird that a game like this is sold for 59,99.
I mean, for a basic zombie slasher. It should have a discount. This will be such a flop.
You can pick up the new Zelda for 59,99. That's THE AAA Nintendo game. You know, Nintendo, known for their pricey games.
I do agree that this game shouldn't be sold for that price.
But I mean, come on, Tear of the Kingdom ain't worth it either, it looks like a 15 year old game and is exclusive to a shit console.
A game that has to be emulated to be played properly (which Tears of the Kingdom will have to be) ain't worth 59,99 either.
I agree that Nintendo games are to expensive, but that's their buisiness model and it works for them. My point is, Nintendo always sold their games for a premium price. If a game like dead island 2, for pc, is priced in the same range, that's silly.
I played the game for a couple of hours. It’s pretty good and I had fun and I personally think it’s just a bit too good to add to the ‘Shit Games You Like’ thread even though I already added it a few days ago lol.
I spent 7 minutes experimenting with the gore system by reducing the dead mailman at the start of the first district to a skeleton primarily with my fists since the few weapons I had broke in no time. I can imagine the game gets repetitive but then most games do but until the novelty wears off I am well and truly in the honeymoon phase.

Spoiler:
So would you disagree with this statement about the gore system?

Hmm I have to say that it does make me question my comment now lol but I was just referencing someone else’s opinion. The gore system is super impressive and even after everything I’ve seen it still surprised me when playing it for myself.
I haven’t obtained any guns yet or anything to actually put holes straight through the zombie as it shows in the video so it could still be slightly downgraded compared to the IGN video.
It would be cool to get a mode included where you can just attack any enemy with any weapon and have them just be stationary without the ability to attack the player but I guess that’s just something the devs will only be able to do unless there is a PC mod at some point
Sooooo did anyone try activating and playing the uncut version on PC in Germany? Its supposed to be IP locked but I'm wondering: If you switch the location of your Epic Games account to Austria and activate the game via VPN, can you play the uncut version in Germany? Do you only need a VPN for activating the game or does it need to be connected all the time while playing?
I have 2:20 hrs playtime and I'm begging Epic to do a refund.
Maybe I'm getting old, but even thought I loved the first part, this just doesn't do it for me. It also keeps randomly crashing, mostly in the inventory or when in dialogs. So much for going gold 2 months ago...

4h 33m in 4player coop. Nobody had any bugs or crashes.
That said, i guess we've been lucky. I hate when i buy games and experience the kind of shit you have
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.
Epic responded no bueno.
Just googled and one article recommended to turn off AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2 to avoid inventory and workshop crashes.
Reinstalling now to try it out, will update if it fixes it for me.
