is this guy the new shillup? every video is like a long essay or something
Only if Shillup steals his scripts from other content creators. Youtube kept recommending that guy's channel on my feed for some reason so I decided to google why the algorithm has picked him.
Turns out he was known as lukiepoo and plagiarized hbomberguy, then I guess changed his name but from threads even just 6 months back on reddit, it seems he's still stealing scripts.

I'll say it because nobody else is going to: you very obviously have low standards. Tastebuds in your anus. I mean, most of us have been here for years now and I think it's pretty evident.
I doubt that's a problem for most people, but pretending like the reviewers are at fault is disingenuous. All you have to do is look at a universally praised game and compare it to this to see where its many faults lay. It's a turd. Not a well polished one either.
It would be random if there weren't years worth of discussions about Gears of War being the pinnacle of gaming, the benefits of 720p, 30FPS, motion blur and just about everything else you can scrap from the bottom of a barrel

people just don't like AAA and square goes out of their way to piss consumers off, painting a bullseye on their ass.
basically if your game doesn't run as smooth as a linear corridor shooter, or if the protagonist says something stupid or something doesn't match whatever flavor that is popular at the moment on the internet, now you have the worst game ever!
square gave people too much ammunition on this one and it turned into a bandwagon. sadly, it is the new normal. i'm sure the starfield release will be a similar story, albeit without the stupid pricetag.

Well said.
But...
Some people are so caught up in a mental matrix, that sometimes it's hard (read impossible) for them to admit (or see) the bars that limit their mental abilities and freedom.
The game is pretty good when it gets going and if you play is as light hearted adventure which it is.
It is cringe Japanese writing we all like from games like ff7 or ff xv...
Once it opens up, the movement and combat is really fun. You unlock a lot of mobility powers which are good but some attack power sets are redundant and to be honest, the game only needs 2 out of 4 magic sets. The Frey magic and Sila (melee). Other are pointless crap.
If they reduced the delay after cutscenes, the game would be better. As it is now, the game stops often, just to show you something and then you wait awkward 5 seconds before you regain control. It's just sluggish in a needless way.
All that said, I had great 30 hours with it and was very surprised. The visuals (with hdr) and music are good too. Especially the first open world section music. Really makes me want to explore.

Forspoken may have had a budget of over $100,000,000, according to the LinkedIn page of a former member of the Luminous Productions team.
The game, which was championed as one of the compelling Sony AAA games this year, released to mixed reviews and numerious waves of online critique. Luminous Productions would later be swallowed whole by Square Enix following the game's launch.
This information from LinkedIn (first spotted, screenshotted and archived by Timur22 on Twitter) is certainly a lofty figure to look at, especially with the context from Square Enix saying Forspoken sales were "lacklustre".
Signs pointing to a lack of hunger for what Forspoken had cooking was highly visible upon the release of marketing trailers for the game, as well as how quickly the game went on sale at certain retailers.
Obviously this is sad news. Incredibly lofty expectations put on a game, as well as the fallout following poor sales has resulted in this rough patch in the recent Square Enix library. The game now, if you can handle the dialogue with a similar midnset as you would with games like Borderlands 3 with its particular brand of humour, a series of technical patches has made the game pretty fun.
What a hit!
