It didn't ran great at all. That game should have ran with like 300 frames at 4k. It performed the worst out of all sony ports. While being the most graphically primitive and simplistic and the oldest game of all.
It's probably a mix of being extremely tailored made for playstation plus iron galaxy. The requirements for tlou are also much higher than what's in ps4/5 for lower resolution and framerates. So it's probably gonna be the same thing again
Uncharted 4 is known for running poorly, I'm surprised anyone would say otherwise. Even redditors acknowledge this, and most of those people will lap up any old shit.
Hopefully they learned from that... but... myeah.
There have been plenty of good Sony ports over the last couple of years. Uncharted 4 wasn't one of them. It might be acceptable but it wasn't anything special.
lol why wouldnt i say it ran great when it really did? i had 0 problems with those games, 100+fps even on the larger areas map all on max on 1080p no stutter no anything, at release with no patches. 300 frames at 4k thats very unrealistic if u werent joking

Last of Us also requires gpu power thats ~35-40% faster than whats in ps5 to run the game at the same resolution/framerate as ps5, according to their updated specs. It's probably gonna be the same stuff like uncharted 4
If performance impressed you, we can move to the many other subpar elements of the port, like the god awful KB+M controls (to this day still haven't been fixed). The same bugs people complain about over and over (particularly around cutscenes). Or the lack of updates for the past few months. Take your pick.
These guys also have a terrible reputation for PC ports in general, eg: Batman: Arkham Knight
He is confusing what running good means. He thinks having 100 frames at 1080p means its good. When another similar game thats actually running good would have performed with 350 frames at the same settings/resolution.
Uncharted 4 is a game from 7 years ago, made for ps4, using every trick to save on performance. And it performs like its an open world game filled with AI routines and interactivity and 6 years newer.
just because u compare 2 similar games dosent mean they have to have the same performance...like lol
yeah u4 is a ps4 game, if u run it on pc with similar spec u will get similar performance, what are u even talking about. its not like it runs like ps4 on very high end pc...

im not mad, but i tell u for me it ran great and u say that "I'm surprised anyone would say otherwise" lol, like the game should run horrible for everyone like wtf. every pc released game has its a bad port shit performance posts.
m+kb was fine, for mouse there was an easy fix
arkham knight was 10 years ago, like its hilarious people keep bringing that one up.
It's not performing as it should compared to ps4/5, that's the issue. the last of us if i recall is running at 1440p and 60 frames on ps5. Their specs have ps5 level hardware for 1080p at 60. If you want to run the game as ps5 res and details, they ask for a 2080TI. Which is 35-40% faster than the 2070/S that a ps5 is at.
I dont know why you keep missing such simple points and keep insisting on objectively false naratives. Every other sony port is far more advanced tech wise, they're all newer games and they all run much better. Something like Days Gone runs probably twice as fast while rendering much more stuff in a much more advanced manner.
its stupid to compare one console version to the pc spec sheet when there are more settings on pc compared to consoles, ps5 version dosent mean all settings on ultra.
lets wait for benchmarks and settings breakdown. Maybe we will learn that on PS5 is everything set low-medium.. might be same story like with RDR2 - if you set details like on Series X it could be run on potato...
Uncharted did not have any meaningful settings above playstation. Unlike something like God of War or Days Gone which had entirely new features that could greately alter the way certain scenes looked compared to the original console release. It's the most barebones sony port out of everything they released so far. And looking at the trailer for tlou this seems to be the same.
Its very likely that high on PC will be the same as it is on playstation. While requiring 40% extra performance to hit it. And looking at the same iron galaxy how they just gave up on trying to fix the mouse input in uncharted, its hard to be excited on a new release from them. They literally seem unable to actually fix m/kb in that game. The game failing spectacularly on PC commercially they probably didnt get any more resources to spend on the game, so it sits abandoned with non functional features
It's wild, if one needs audio descriptions to "see" a cutscene of two people occupying the whole screen - how can that person even see gameplay? (Yes I know about the blue/red, I wonder if that makes a huge difference and for what types of blindness)
its probably for people who are blind and sitting with another person who's playing the game,
so they can experience the ground breaking story or something like an audiobook.
you don't need to see the gameplay, a completely blind person can play the game using audio queues, so yeah, they probably want to experience cutscenes too
