I 'wanna' a FOV that I personally feel comfortable with, one that doesn't make my eyes cross or forces an unnatural, limited, artificial view on the 'world'.
Since you lack the awareness to identify fine details in controls and settings, such as mouse acceleration, you should be happy as a derpad user and at least respect other people's preferences.
Hey 'works perfectly great' here, all is 'perfectly normal', so you should 'stop complaining'.

does it work? i mean, does acting out that internet persona gives you anything, boosts your fragile shattered ego?
i thought mouse acceleration is for retards, like you know, youre too old to move mouse fast so u use mouse acceleration. when i played competitive fps more back in the days, everyone turned it off. and you want it in rather simple tpp game, which has little mouse movements,, slow enemies and quick turn button, hmm. maybe youre right, your brain actually IS "wired differently" and you are some kind of "special gamer" and its not for special gamers who feel bad while playing tpp due to fov. "more money in your pockets" or whatever you called it, no biggie, dont worry. have a nice day, play your games.

basically this, re7 was great back to fpp horror (sold good but not THAT well afair), re8 is mix of re7 elements with more re4 like action, overall bigger game with various settings, also that slavic village looks fucking great. r4 remake looks great, really nice atmospheric lighting, dust and other effects in that short demo. i remember re4 as great action game, its not survival as much as re2 and re3 in less extent. dunno if i would buy it, maybe some cheap key or copy on ps5

Demo crashes at 4k max settings as soon as I get to the house.
I have to drop textures to high 2gb and shadows to high to make it run.
vram management... cmon capcom

strange, according to dso - NVIDIA RTX4090 runs Resident Evil 4 Remake Demo with over 90fps at Native 4K/Max Settings/Ray Tracing

It's capcom. They cannot do vram correctly.
I get 50fps on 4k all max, so it's good framerate wise but it crashes.
Even on 1440p, I get 80fps but it still crashes.
Only way to stop crashing is lower vram settings.
4080 got 16gb of vram. The 12gb model will meet the same fate soon probably.

I have to go down to 1080p and it will still crash but alter.
Disabling RT even at 4k, completely fixes crashes.
Keeping RT and 4k, lowering textures and shadows helps too.

afair to most of re had fov mods pretty quickly, tho it doesnt bother me totally in tpp, in fpp it might be annoying but in horror games i preffer closer one, more atmospheric/realistic.

yep. with 4k max, textures set to high 2gb, I see 9500mb usage. That is on the brink of a crash lol. If I switch to high 3gb, it crashes.
But I was able to finish whole demo like this.
Anyone know if there is any textures difference between high 2 vs high 8gb ?

Although at least capcom is going forward with the series with the new RE games. As opposed to EA (Dead Space) and konami (Silent Hill). And there's rumors of a Metal Gear Solid remake inbound

But isn't Konami doing the same as Capcom? Although unlike Capcom who is remaking numerous games, they are just remaking SH2 and instead making more new games in the series so they are in a better position than Capcom
