The Act of War - High Treason Demo has been released. It comes in at a huge 752mb. Here is what it includes:

SINGLE-PLAYER CAMPAIGN MISSIONS ("OPERATION"): this demo contains missions 9, 10 and 11 of the 34-mission campaign. Follow Sergeant Oz and Sergeant Major Jefferson as they infiltrate the base of a renegade elite unit of the US Army Special Forces.

SKIRMISH MODE ("ENGAGEMENT"): you can play single-player skirmish games against the A.I. using new and old units of the Task Force Talon. Three maps are available for 2-4 players.

LAN AND ONLINE MODES: play 2-4 player multiplayer games against friends and enemies on three different maps. One naval map is available for the Naval combat mode.

NAVAL UNITS: in LAN and ONLINE modes, select the "Navy" game mode to try out the all new Naval battles!

FACTIONS: only Task Force Talon is featured in this demo, with all units except Tactical Weapons ("superweapons") and Future Force Warriors. Official and Unofficial Mercenaries are available in the demo, but not Illegal.

Yes must acquire. What blowz though is the Naval unit are NOT used in Skirmish. Confused Not sure what the hell was wrong with coding Skirmish AI to use Navy? Not like its not been done before (ie. RedAlert1 and 2). Not too concerned.. some AI coder will likely script them in. Still.. looking forward to this as I played the original out big time and got very good at it. Hope the Skirmish AI is better now (hear it very much is).

Act Of War was awesome and awkward since it wasnt DVD5! This sounds like an expansion but a 34 mission single player campaign tells me its not?

May the NFOrce be with you always.

Well, damn, I am not good at this game at all Sad . I must be missing something. I am playing Skirmish against an easy opponent and getting my ass handed to me. I get 4 turrets and ground troops built. I make my turrets more powerful against tanks. I have 3 turrets set up where the enemy usually comes in to attack and they get killed without firing a shot. Literally 3 enemy soldiers come within striking distance but are out of range of my turrets. They sit there shooting them and blow them up and my turrets don't fire a shot. I send my troops in they kill the enemy but get injured themselves. I am disappointed big time. The graphics are great of course. But this problem didn't exist in AoW. Also, your damn helicopters don't shoot troops!!! Also you have to upgrade your helicopters to hellfire missiles so they will actually be able to attack a tank. If you don't upgrade your helicopters I don't think they fire on anything except other helicopters!! LOL! Boggles the mind! This is ridiculous, BUT, I don't want to give up on it yet, it's just a demo and I may not know what I am doing. I am going to try it again later tonight. I am not passing judgement on a demo. Can anyone offer me some tips? Why can't they follow Generals example and also add all the extra bells and whistles into the game.

TIA!!

There are not 34 different maps in xpack. 3-4 missions are on 1 map so basicaly you are looking at 10-12 maps each with multiple missions.
