holly shit, 121 people. Thats 40% of their entire workforce. Such a god damn shame that Relic coudln't sustain itself in the modern era, like Creative couldn with Total War.

It's doubly frustrating because you could see from the moon that their choices were doomed to fail, but they kept going on that doomed path. They're probably one smaller project away from being closed

Sega has sold Relic Entertainment, and will cut 240 roles across Sega Europe, Creative Assembly and Sega HARDlight

Relic is best known for the Company of Heroes and Dawn of War games, and recently developed the new Age of Empires for Microsoft. Relic will transition to an independent studio and will no-longer be part of the Sega group of studios.

The game is so medicore, I guess most people don't care anyway.
