I hardly ever finish games any more, as I get bored so quickly -- but if the controls and/or camera are horrible, then I won't even waste the time isodemoing it. Nioh 1 was unplayable, for example.
No, its the almost universal stuttering that pc games have in the last 2 years. The apparent broken controlls are in response to the above question, it seems they fucked that up as well. They're saying over there that it emulates sticks, so probably some negative acceleration instead of raw input where there's no software filtering messing the mouse camera.
ppl will ask themselves why bother with shitty pc gaminganyway? fucking expensive hardware and games full of DRM cancer that actually run better on inferior hardware (i.e. consoles)
Gamepass version is fine, but no support for my 3840x1200 resolution.
Keyboard/mouse support is shit, and the Chinese players on Steam are review bombing it. Which is fair IMO. At least give players the option to use their kbm if they want to.
Story wise, seems like it's yet another Team Ninja game where you must fight against a mysterious magic old man blegh.
Gameplaywise there's yet more menus and stats which I think is a bit much, same as in Nioh.
The map design is pretty boring IMO, much like Nioh. They really need to get better world designers, especially after Elden Ring. These maps are kinda boring.
looks like the ADHD version of it tbh, with the loot diarrhea of nioh, so spend a quarter of your game time in shitty menus managing your gear for some reason.

That is the jap crap i could never deal with. Always this menu bullshit.
I will pirate this i tink. No chance the xbox game pass edition will include the inevitable dlc's and the steam price is outrageous

The loot diarrhea has been toned down a lot so you'll usually only get 1 drop quite rarely, so that's good at least.
Performance is shit with stutters. It's not a very good port.
I'm on a controller as well, though I'd have gone with keyboard/mouse given the choice kek. Being able to aim precisely where I swing my sword in a group fight would be nice.
It's kinda easy so far compared to Nioh, mainly because the game lets you hold block when deflecting. Block is L1, deflect is O. So if you fail a deflect, you still block and take no damage to your health, but it fills up huge chunks of negative spirit/stamina, which when full means you just sit there all exhausted and awaiting death. But once you learn the patterns, it gets pretty easy, but I'm still at the opening arc.
Just got to what might be the hub stage / village place. I hope there's an option to keep this place be like Nioh 2's hideout where it's just a menu. I don't want to run and jump across the map just to get to the blacksmith.
These developers don't deserve money. Their games look like they are coming from PS3 era. It's possible that Crysis looks better than any game they put out in the last 5-7 years. Their design philosophy is trash in many regards like UI, optimization or level design. Their approach to the PC market is absolutely disgusting and them dying out would actually be some sort of justice.
I wanted to add the usual [Early Access] tag as a sign of scorn but then again, about 90% of PC threads would need one. Even satire is getting redundant these days
