This game looks awesome (even if they didn't get RT in by launch, guess it will come later), performance is top notch (~130 fps maxed out 3440x1440 on a 3080, no stutters, nothing), gameplay is amazing. Having so much fun with it, prey, bioshock, halflife vibes and you get the retards scoring it 2/10.
The fridge is annoying, but the rest of the voice acting/dialogue is more than fine? And they have the nerve to cry about forspokens diarrhea being on the same level ?

Yeah, maybe because it's Russian? It's being compared with AAA titles like Bioshock and Half-Life, while it's the developer's first game Perhaps they shouldn't have asked 70$ for this, true, but still... Some of the comments are really dumb, and nitpicking about some small visual bugs that I've seen in games for over 20 years.

I want to give it a try because I'm definitely intrigued by how unique it seems, but there is little information about how the leak compares to the final build yet - and I don't really want to play a poor man's version of this.

The leak is a terrible, nigh-unplayable mess because of the constant stuttering. Full version is smooth.
It's a really good game. Surprisingly good. I thought of exactly the same games as russ80 while playing this; Prey, Bioshock and Half-Life. Stayed up 'till the wee morning hours 'cuz I just didn't want to stop. There's some weirdness in the mechanics and writing, sure, but IMO the uniqueness and fun-factor overcome it.

Its the smoothest game since forever. The launch version, that is. Is it not possible to get the one dollar gamepass and play it legit ? Just change the region to UK or US if you live in a country where gamepass is not sold. There are european countries where this doesnt sell. Change the country on microsofts webpage then put some random address from google when you pay that dollar.

Legit, the leaked dev build is garbage perf-wise.

Set the windows mouse speed to the 6th step, turn off acceleration if you havent already and then run the regedit file corresponding to your OS and windows scaling. Thats true raw mouse input in everything. The first time i did this it was a holly shit moment

Also, the mouse tool is for EVERYTHING, not this game in particular. Just a quality of life registry tweak that makes everything feel a bit better. This game does NOT have acceleration. There must be something else at play there, i saw another person yesterday claiming mouse acceleration, so something must be there, but there must be some other factors influencing this otherwise we would all feel negative accelration. Games that have acceleration baked in its impossible to confuse it or not feel it. This game also has Reflex, so it responds to your mouse movements fantastic.

I'm glad I read this thread because I have just uninstalled the dev build due to the constant stuttering (don't even bother if you're considering). I'm happy to hear that it's playable and worth playing. I'll add it to my wishlist for a later date.
I tried but it seems that the subtitles are tied to the audio's language, so when I switched to Russian, everything was in Russian, and there was no visible option to switch the subtitles to English. I guess someone would find a way to do it later on.
do they slow down the animations of really fast robots if they're too far away or something?

Be sure to follow the tutorial video as there's some tricks to make the thing work.
I think it's currently packed with v4.9.1, but you can replace it with the new .dll's, just have to rename dxgi.dll to Reshade64.dll and overwrite. Worked like a charm.
