Halfway through hard playthrough, maxed default gun and pulse rifle first - they use too much ammo / $'s but are fun to play with nevertheless. I think flamethrower is the best overall gun?
# Off-topic one of my biggest gripes with GaMERs 2022, is they google "OP Build / Best Gun / Break Game" in 5 minutes of installing games. I've pretty much stopped MP with friends entirely it's just too fucking annoying. The fun is PLAYING the game, not getting 10000 million DPS in 10minutes because you can use google. Then same people whine they are bored of the game, not enough bUILd diVERsity etc. fuck gee I wonder why?!
Flamethrower looks cool and all and the alt fire is awesome at choke points but i pretty much only use it for those annying little fucks that crawl up your backs. or the tentacle skulls. I dont think you can beat the ripper for ammo efficiency, and it knocks enemies back which is nice.
finished, great remake and just a great damn game, old school but with modern graphics. i like both versions as silent or voiced protagonist, they really did a great job with the voice.
ofcourse they will, its free boatloads money at this point ... and who knows they might do some kind of trilogy pack after aswel lol , the floodgates are open for them to MILK THEM COWS DRY FOR EVERY PENNY
Dead Space Remake publisher Electronic Arts is surveying players in a bid to discover if fans would like to see a remake of the franchise's second and third instalments, too.
I think DS 2 was okay but the end was bad, DS3 i found unplayable / uninstalled after a few hours. They probably will just do the remakes because low investment and they will sell well, but a new game would be 1000x better.
I loved them all. DS3 was "OK" with co-op, outside missions etc but it was a bit too much action oriented. Great game regardless of manys' complains.
I'm quite sure they will remake them all because they will sell like hot cakes.
IF they remake DS3, they have all the strings necessary to fix it's problems.
I personally could not stand the exaggerated focus on action / shooting and gave up on it. But it COULD be (re)made to be much, much better in the remake.
dead space series is like aliens, first one is more horror, second is more action but both very good, onwords not so much. but dead space 3 was allright, you couldnt do if i remember 2-3 missions that were co op only but other than that...more action sure but not a bad game, just a bad ds game maybe, couse everyone wanted more horror and this one was more action than 2 if i remember, the snowy parts were great though.
im all in for remakes but will probably take a long time....the hype for the remake is now
thanks to steams 90min free preview demo thingy you can now play dead space until at least the end of may for frees if you apply some pirate magic (no begging, queuing necessary)
