SEGA has just announced that Like a Dragon: Ishin! will be officially coming to PC in February 2023. In order to celebrate this announcement, the publisher has also released a new trailer that you can find below.

As its description reads:

“In 1860s Kyo, a solemn samurai’s fight for justice stands to change the course of Japan’s history forever. Draw your blade and join the revolution in this heated historical adventure.”

Like a Dragon: Ishin! is a Yakuza spin-off game that came out on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in 2014.

Enjoy!

Don't mind it. Many people never really think about things too deeply and just readily agree with anything they get served. It's definitely weird, but still it works. They could drop the dragon quest bullshit though as none of the characters were gamers, it was just shoehorned in there.

Nothing against trans people, but I can't stand the type of people that flock into subs after something like the above happens that proceed to calls everyone a transphobe.

Guilty Gear sub became unreadable because of all the anger when they announced Bridget was a girl, I'm not ready for my yakuza sub to turn into the next battlefield.

Not sure I got your sentence, I didn't see anyone calling others transphobes or whatnot ? Just light-hearted comments about "Chad Kuze" and the like, maybe I just got something completely wrong though Laughing

No, I thought you were perhaps reminiscing about some of the older Yakuza games, as it's always been over the top Very Happy

If anything, the main storylines in these games are always played dead-serious. You can ignore most of the mini-games, too.

But why should you?
It's the crazy shit that happens in between super serious story, and the contrast this brings to the super serious personas (and no one ever breaks character too).

It's hilarious, epic, awesome and silly, all at once. Laughing

I was like that at first too. Avoided all the side quests like a plague because the tonal shift from the main story, but now i find i enjoy them. The immense wacko situations you stumble upon at times.

The first time I played Yakuza 0, I got maybe 15 minutes into it before getting a refund. Then I kept chipping away and now I've finished quite a few of them

There are enough serious games out there

For a remake in a new engine, this sure feels like a remaster. No QOL changes, feels pretty clunky, textures all over the place.

I'm a pretty big Yakuza fan since the PS2 days, but I think this is overpriced as it is.

Also updating faces to people from previous games kinda spoils who the bad guys are. Also the Steam card for one character spoils a mystery of sorts I think (not sure though) Laughing

Does this one have a karaoke mini-game, actually? Yakuza without karaoke will be strange, but I'm curious to see how they'd implement it in this one Laughing

Edit:

Nice Laughing
