Satan's tits. It's 48 fps and 3D I hope it won't spring another 3D craze...

I certainly hope it will, just 100x times better than 2D, extremely disappointed that it went down the drain and instead they're pushing HDR and 4K which is meh in comparison.
Not saying all movies were good in 3D and that it can't get even better because it certainly can, like everything else..

Higher FPS should be good with 3D since otherwise there can be some judder.

Reviews are now out for James Cameron’s “Avatar: The Way of Water” and the overall response seems to be cooler than the early ecstatic reviews from the junket press.

With 100 reviews counted, the film’s Rotten Tomatoes score sits at 83% (7.3/10), about on par with the 82% (7.4/10) of its predecessor.

It’s a slightly different story on Metacritic with the sequel nabbing a 72/100 – notably down compared to the original’s 83/100.

Cameron's hilariously unscientific take on testosterone (that it's a toxin that all males must rid from their bodies) makes me want to avoid it, but i'll likely watch it Rolling Eyes

Welp, it's visually stunning but otherwise mediocre and cliche movie that could be a lot better with some changes and less teen drama.

My friend didn't like it and he likes most Marvel movies, even the new ones which i can't even stand. He said (among other things) its very underwhelming when it came to epic fights, especially the ending. It's a skip, at least until its time to yaaaarrrrr

Yeah I have little interest in this one, the first movie while cliche felt like a finished story. However I imagine this movie would be excellent on big screen 3D for that alone.

Good friend with pretty good movie taste told me movie story/motive/script is utter shit but the very best thing you can experience right now. Sense of inmersion and wonder is strong with 3D HFR in this one apparently. I know I will go one day to watch it Very Happy

if it was capitals, like "IT", would mean Italian. if it's with one capital like "iT" you probably guessed right, iTunes.

Yep, Cameron is the only director who could easily resurrect both The Terminator and the Alien franchises.

Searched and i noticed 3D version out since some hours (...i was just randomly thinking about this movie and if it ever was going to get a 3D release).

Too bad i got tired of my 124" projector screen (painted on wall). Gonna watch it in my Quest 2 instead, experience is actually not far off at all (size wise), just not as comfortable, though the benefit is no glasses that dulls the colors.

Glad i waited because i doubt its even worth it in 2D.

Got it for wife to watch as she was curious.
She said it was 'meh'.

Shallow trope filled predictable characters and story filled with rehashes of the first "You liked it so much we did it..twice!" vibe.

The bits I saw, as I only watched the start as we ate dinner, then later as I wandered in. Feels a lot like a parallel of a game that is really just a tech demo with lipstick on it: Want to see the ability of amazing visual technology? Great! Our movie is 99% frame focused and driven by that, and 1% tossed in story to drive the movie to the next scene to display more of that.

seems rather meh, though i did enjoy the first movie in 3D.

couldn't get 3D to work since MVC 3D Remux, no matter what i try it decodes it as 2D..
i'll wait and see if a SBS comes out. not exactly top priority.
