Better play and enjoy the hell out at the beginning before the ridiculousness sets in with the goofy skins, increased running speed and no-recoil weapons
At least there won't be any COD game in at least 2 year forcing out-of-place content into it.

was def interesting, very well done i would say, high production, slow and grounded aproach, very sicario feel, no score in the background etc. but now after i finished it i still think the original was more fun to play, more big set pieces, action, fantastic score, big twists etc.
The antagonist's death was anticlimactic. From Price sliding you a pistol to headshot the villain in MW, throwing a knife at Shepherd's eye in MW2, and hanging Makarov in MW3, to chucking some C4 at a tank. So lame.
"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.
Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

Spoiler:
But he was just a middle-man. Shephard is still alive and on the run. Makarov is yet to be introduced.
It would be cooler if Sheppy was actually untouchable for a bitter-sweet conclusion of the series.
But I do agree that the tank "battle" was lame-ass gimmick.
True he's just a middle man, but he's the one your characters interact with the most and form a relationship with. His comeuppance should have been more satisfying.

Also, who says that he's dead? We never see a body. Only hear his voice.
By far, by FAR the worst campaign I've had to play to date.
I started last year on the Deck, doing all COD campaigns. Back to back so everything was fresh. Black Ops 3 was up there as being particularly shite until I played this one.
Firstly, getting to the campaign is an absolute fucking pain. You can't just launch the game, you have to launch it, click single player, then the game closes and opens again. This is maybe ~1 minute with the 'connecting to network' nonsense that happens.
But if there's an update... you have to open the game, wait for it to update (why doesn't it update via Steam??), close it, open it again, it recognises the update, then you click campaign and it restarts again. Lunacy.
I only play these games for the campaigns, and so I didn't have any MP content installed. Yet when I launch the game, it asks me if I want to delete the campaign to free up space for MP. Despite the fact MP is never installed and I am midway through a campaign.
Then there's this lighting issue (across every platform) that plagues every single mission:
The lights throughout every level appear through all walls at all times. Eventually, you're on one of the last missions and there are so many that you cannot see what you're doing. The fix is to restart the mission. Now... considering restarting the game can take 2-3 fucking restarts, this can get tiresome quickly, and it doesn't always work.
That's just the technical issues. As for the game - the characters are all macho fucking idiots and the missions are largely trash. AI shoots through walls, has better aim than aimbots on hard, and it's actually quite buggy.
I actually enjoyed the first new Modern Warfare. But even by COD standards, this sequel is awful. I paid $20 for it and still feel ripped off.
Starlight, Homelander, and Black Noir from The Boys are coming to Call of Duty Season 04 Reloaded and will be available starting July 12, 2023. Watch the latest brutal trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone to see the collaboration.
