Yeah there are three games in the series unless you include the spin-offs but I think Dead Space 3 is the worst of them to most people so he might not be bothered about it?
Thats right, and I agree. Its why I only played the two first

Is the 3rd fully playable solo? It was initially made for co-op, right?

I don’t play co-op games so I’m not sure and can’t remember since it was way back on the PS3 in 2013, however I’m pretty sure I played through the whole story campaign by myself.
Edit: The Dead Space 3 campaign can be played in either single player or multiplayer co-op mode.
You can play the whole thing solo but there are 2 or 3 doors with small coop missions that remain locked. I don't believe they were ever modded or hacked to be accessible in single player.
This, from a studio head, is crunch culture defined. Of course nobody is “forced” to work insane hours. But imagine the reduced bonuses and lack of promotion opportunities if you don’t?
'Imagine' - so then this assumption is... based on nothing?
And working more gives you a higher chance of getting bonuses? Uh yep, that's typically how bonuses work
And why is forced in quotation marks?
If people don't like crunch, they shouldn't buy the game. Except that won't work, because their principles in the real world carry no weight compared to the principles they project outwardly online.
if consumers cared about the conditions in which products are made the textile industry would be dead. Among many others.
If the game ends up being good enough it will sell well. twitter mobs and youtubers are a loud minority.

Ha so true. Chinamen have to work 996 70+ hours a week so we can have cheap tech and shit. I think it was also mentioned in that doc "american factory".
Anyway hope they make a great game and not torture devs too much. Enjoyed all 3 ds.
Very little gets in the way of consumers consuming. And even though there may be online outrage most ultimately don't care if the issue does not affect them directly.

People only get angry about the things they're told to get angry about. If no one tells them to not be angry about the textile industry then they won't care. Until someone tells them to be angry about it, then they get angry and will cuss you out for pointing out their hypocrisy as it's only natural to be angry about this great injustice.... That didn't matter just a short while ago.
Nearly every so called horror genre media nowadays is the same repetitive "scare jump" crap. Never liked Dead Space because of that and it's gonna be the same with this, so boring.
I wish there were more studios taking risks producing games similar to Alien Isolation.
Blame the chickenshits among us, and there are many. People are too scared to play scary games so they make silly jump scares instead of really scary stuff. Naturally some devs lack talent though for knowing what makes a truly good horror title.
I tried visage as i though that might satiate the craving, but the gameplay is way too rough and i cba running through a house clicking everything like some obscure point and click adventure game where puzzles don't make sense. Need some direction.
Anyone with a phone supports modern slavery and knows about it, and doesn't care. If we wanted to change bad working conditions we would, but cheaper phones is better.
No one gonna boycott shit because high paid dev works too much overtime
I agree with you, but realistically speaking, what can I actually do as an idividual?
You go to social media and compete with the other lunatics. You address the issue by making other people feel bad about themselves, because you and Cause X, Y and Z are so much better than them.
You don't need to actually do anything, just add some flags, popular hashtags etc to your bio and you're good to go

I'll take any and all games like Dead Space OR Alien Isolation thank you very much-o

I wish my preference range in the horror genre was still that wide but it got much narrower over 2 decades ago thanks to all that crap that hollywood was already mass-producing back then.
