Yeah, nice spinning crescent kick (if would have been a roundhouse if he turned his hip over like it should have been )

Awesome backwards dolleyo. One day, I hope to be able to make that kick. It'll require tons of training.

For sure. Dude, that was a Tae Kwon Do tournament. I used to compete in Open Tournaments, full contact and semi contact.
Open means any style - japanese, korean, chinese, thai styles, whatever.
Tae Kwon Do guys are only good against other Tae Kwon Do ppl.
What I teach, Hapkido, is black belt tae kwon do. Tae kwon do practioners dont begin to learn Hapkido till they reach Black Belt....anyone who is a 1st Dan or higher in Tae Kwon do will tell you that.
Fuck, I could teach you in a few hours to throw a kick like that...its really not hard man. I think you think its alot harder than it really is.
The hard part is catching someone in the right spot to make their legs turn into jello...it was a well placed kick but poorly executed.
The power is also easy to develop. All you have to do is learn to chamber your hip. Like you lock it and snap it around at the right time. That takes a year or so (depending on the person) to get down - its uncomfortable at first because uve prolly never have moved your hip in that fashion you know?
U should get into it, real martial arts tho...like Hapkido, Akido, Tang Su Do (where Hapkido comes from) or even REAL, traditional Shotokan/Chito Ryu.
