and apparently its so short and with a reuse of the map so people call it a dlc/expansion

That was the problem, the Miles stuff was supposed to be a DLC but then they thought why sell it for $10 when people will pay $40 if we just add some padding to the game to make it a bit longer with fetch quests.

If they are charging $60 for Spider-Man it will be interesting to see how much they try to charge for Miles when it comes out later this year. They really should have done like they did on console and had Spider-Man and Miles be $60 for both together.

I guess I'm about half-way and getting more into it too. Took a little while to get the swinging more or less under control Very Happy
A "Ubisoft game done better" is indeed a fitting name. The side-stuff and collecting is fast and fun, and I'm even doing the puzzles as they break the pace and gameplay a bit.

They also introduce the open world tasks gradually, so the map isn't cluttered, which is nice. And it also encourages me more to do the ones that are available.

I still find the combat in the Arkham games better, though. Feels there's a lot more options in those games (blocking/parrying, cape swing, etc), unless I'm missing something Laughing . But it's fun nonetheless.

finished, dlcs too, around 80% done on everything. was a great game, 9/10, didnt really found any problems with it, never got bored, maybe it could have had more storylines in sidequests instead of just standalone ones as i think the main storyline could have used more stories.

cant wait for morales one

FK, does the FLT release not save screenshots from the Photo Mode? I made couple dozens pictures and now checking the "Screenshots" folder in the "C:\Documents\Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered\Screenshots" and it's completely empty. Crying or Very sad
And turned out FLT also doesn't include the DLC's so I will now try the DODI for them. Thought they will open after finishing the main game but no...

I'm pretty sure FLT release has the DLCs. I remember even getting an in-game prompt stating as such, that they were available. Not sure about SS location, however.

I was dumb. Found the DLC's from the menu when you get into the city. Thought it was from the game menu before. Laughing
But still nothing with the photo mode images. Guess they just don't save with the yarr versions. Sad

Does the game have access to the folder?

Hopefully there is someone here who can help me.

Looking for a safe game right after the

.
I had to format my pc and didn't backup my saves - stupid me.
I know online I can find saves but those are all 100% completes, and I do not want those.

I'd like a ' legit ' savegame - no 100% complete or lvl 50 with everyuthing and suits unlocked.
I was level 44 at that time, and did most side activities - but not all - anyway.

If there is someone who has a save around that timeframe - i'd be really happy if you can share it with me.

Finished it too. 100% on the main story and the 3 DLC' on the Spectacular difficulty. At first was sceptic but really like the game now. Combat is great tho I rarely used some gadgets and 99% used just 2 costume powers. Graphics are good enough but nothing awing. Story is mostly terribly dumb, I never liked it in the Spider-Man comics anyway. Had couple of bugs where enemies or me got stuck into a building but very rarely.

Anyway, really looking forward to the next game/expansion or w/e they are making with Miles Morales.

100% it too, with all DLCs, was a fun ride while being sceptic initially.
I made use of all the gadgets, those compounds/bases got tough by the 3rd DLC.

What problem is there with HBAO? I compared the different settings and didn't notice anything odd, SSAO and HBAO look a bit different yes, but I didn't think anything was odd or missing with the latter.

check out digital foundry's video on the pc version to see the difference between HBAO and SSAO. The former does look off.
Patch notes anyone?

Hey everyone,

Today we have a new update available for Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered. This patch contains various fixes and improvements. You may need to restart Steam to see this update.

We fixed several issues to address a negative impact on CPU performance that could occur when using certain controllers with certain connection methods. Besides that, we further finetuned HBAO+ and implemented a fix for crashes that would occur when enabling ray-tracing on systems with certain older Intel CPUs.

In this update we also added performance and memory logging, to help our ongoing investigations into performance. Check out the patch notes below for all the details.
Release Notes
Fixed issues that could cause negative CPU performance impact when using certain controllers.
Further visual finetuning of HBAO+.
Fixed an issue that could cause input loss after enabling Photo Mode during cinematics.
Sticker placement in Photo Mode is not constrained to 16:9 anymore.
Fixed an issue that prevented users from moving lights and stickers in Photo Mode in scenes where the player does not have control over the camera.
Fixed a crash that would occur on Intel Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge CPUs with ray-tracing enabled.
Added performance and memory use logging.

Known Issues
Some players using Intel GPUs cannot take a picture of the Empire State building, blocking their progression. Intel released a beta driver update for Arc GPUs that addresses this issue. A general driver update for other GPUs is expected soon.

Ongoing investigations
Some players are reporting that some game achievements are not unlocking correctly for them. We are investigating.
Some players on laptops with NVIDIA GPUs are reporting significantly lower performance than what would be expected from their hardware. We are investigating this potential issue together with NVIDIA.
Some players are mentioning performance degradation after playing for a long amount of time. So far, we have not been able to reproduce this issue, but our investigations are ongoing, and we are analyzing data from players experiencing these issues to get a better understanding of the potential underlying problem.
