No one asked you to hate, bub. Just see it as it is: a problematic, downgraded, semi-failed product.
Btw, they also slapped Denuvo on it... You know, out of appreciation towards the players...
Why the fuck would do you that, now, huh?! DL1 was a massive, popular, work of love, deeply appreciated by gamers. Why would you need Denuvo to sell a sequel... ?!
Now ask yourself: is it OKAY to support such developers?

I bought it 2-3 days after release and regret it.
Played it for 30 hours. It had numerous bugs (wrong skill being unlocked when choosing, graphical errors like the player holding the container like he is not even touching it, cheap animations like item disappearing in your hand when you cancel the throw), and overall the whole thing was really-really uninteresting. The shops you can enter were copy-paste buildings, the actual city didn't really have anything that "stood out".
Also on a side note: dumbass designers that designed the main menu to let the music trigger at 0 seconds, so no matter if you just quickly fire up the game you will hear the first 10 second of the music all the time........How about triggering the music after 10 seconds you are in the menu?

Any idea why such a drastic difference in file size?
I have the ElAmigos one downloaded, wondering if I should go for the Empress one?

yap, borefest, searching, jumping, press q , open containers, hold f, container wont open up, so try to position in front of container then again press f, wow,, now it works, agan go search, jump a few times and then talk, i lasted 15 minutes to the first house and shift delete. Amazing how first dying light was top notch and this is rubbish.
Why walk, when you can ride.
