"a portrait painting of" then i described the character, then artist, e.g "by Boris Vallejo" and sometimes i mixed in some Giger too (you can see on the character if i did, all the "dark" themed ones). that's all.
I can't do any more right now because i burned all my credits on these ones. I'll buy more when i have money + there's some free credits on the 19:th or whatever it was
I think i'm improving, or the AI is improving! these did take a lot of photoshopping... doing head shots is one thing, doing half-body portraits - tons of errors and glitches.
Lots of Frank Frazetta and Stanley Artgerm in these
This is maybe 1/10th of what i've made in the recent week.. sorting this is a nightmare
Hmm I think I've made it 70% through both Kingmaker and this game. It seems to get too tedious towards the endgame. I guess they are sticking to the board game, but both games would be better without the strategic elements.
The early.game is best CRPG ever played, I think its the min/Max and needing to cast 76x buffs every 5 mins that kill it for me, i dunno.

Yep, you nailed it. Tedious as fuck after you hit a certain point. Travel is also horrible, and you have to skip those inane conversations between your followers every time you rest iirc. I'm sure there are travel mods out there at this point though.
Based on this the game sounds horrible haha.
Like a digital embodiment of every munchkin Monty Hall dungeon "speed running any percent complete" loot and crit-fiend group I played with in person, that I couldnt wait for the session to be over.
Is traveling really just 'watch a dot move' gameplay? Granted I myself dont know a good way to translate tabletop RP and engrossing travel time to a video game. But man, that does seem the worst way to pick.

I havta say, the TB option for me is what truly made this game click imo. I ran RTwP for the first 9 levels and was starting to get really bored. My kid was also playing, and he watched me fail a battle over and over and said try this, and took over and soundly won using good strategies (with a party unfamiliar to him) with TB. Once I made the switch, the game was amazing. Granted, this level 10 change to TB also coincided with some choices you start making about your character's class going forward. The game really picked up pace from here.
The sheer amount of classes and skills that PF brings to the table provides so much variety. When my son and I share stories about our play-throughs, there are pretty much no similarities at all. The things they let my Lich do were surprisingly refreshing. The relationship they let foster with a party member was unique and had so many branching paths.
The main things that kept this from feeling like a masterpiece while playing were 1) bugs galore 2) pathfinding can be quite troublesome (especially in that shifting city) 3) overhead travel map is pretty boring and the HoMM-like battles on it just felt uninspired.
I played it early upon release, so some of that might be fixed by now. I played the first PF and found it just "okay", didn't finish,. Felt the same on this one for the first 9 levels. But after that, I haven't enjoyed a D&D derived CRPG like that since BG+TotSC+SoA+ToB.
