Ryan Gosling is THE GRAY MAN and Chris Evans is his psychopathic adversary in the Netflix/AGBO spy thriller directed by Anthony and Joe Russo - available globally July 22 on Netflix.
Also starring Ana de Armas, with Regé-Jean Page, Billy Bob Thornton, Jessica Henwick, Dhanush, Wagner Moura and Alfre Woodard. Based on the novel The Gray Man by Mark Greaney, the screenplay is by Joe Russo, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
THE GRAY MAN is CIA operative Court Gentry (Ryan Gosling), aka, Sierra Six. Plucked from a federal penitentiary and recruited by his handler, Donald Fitzroy (Billy Bob Thornton), Gentry was once a highly-skilled, Agency-sanctioned merchant of death. But now the tables have turned and Six is the target, hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen (Chris Evans), a former cohort at the CIA, who will stop at nothing to take him out. Agent Dani Miranda (Ana de Armas) has his back. He’ll need it.

Directors of successful Marvel movies where shit is pre rendered by a team of marketing professionals and they just get to film the love action stuff. And cherry that no one talks about for how trash it was.
This as a trailer looks decent Saturday afternoon movie.
So did cherry.
Lol.
I'll watch it. Maybe they'll finally get a decent movie out that's not tied with marketing strings.
sar·casm | \ ˈsär-ˌka-zəm \

2a: a mode of satirical wit depending for its effect on bitter, caustic, and often ironic language that is usually directed against an individual
b: the use or language of sarcasm
They already said this is going to be a trilogy of films with second film focusing on Chris Evans character and I think it was mentioned the 3rd is on Goslings character's early days so it seems like this film probably is really the 3rd film in the timeline they have planned for the series.
No story, lots of Action. Basically a Bourne shot as a super hero movie.
If you turn off your brain, it's watchable. But I would suggest Netflixs Extraction instead.
the fuck was the firework fight? lol.
so there's more cheap fight scenes where they fight slow to show impact? lol.
marvel just used their talent to direct, not to make a cohesive movie.
if they had full reign on their mcu movies mcu would be over.
too much CGI, too many quick cuts/shaky cam. some weird choices when it comes to camera movements but some cool stuff with lighting and contrast that looked good imo
also a few good scenario ideas that felt pretty fresh in a concept that's not really so
overall I thought it was a fun watch but it's like a 6.5/10 or something
Should have been a lot better with a budget like that and these people involved.
I don't think any scene here compares favorably to the better Captain America Winter Soldier fights they directed.
It's also possible I'm giving this more of a pass because of Gosling and Ana De Armas
I like them
Likot Mosuskekim, Woodcutter cancels Sleep: Interrupted by Elephant.
4k hdr on Netflix.
I think since they upped the price on 4k streaming content, pirates may not be able to do it. if they changed their drm as well for 4k. someone has to fork yt-dl to work on Netflix. lol.
