When a group of LGBTQ+ campers arrives at Whistler Camp - a conversion camp run by Owen Whistler (Kevin Bacon) - they are promised a “new sense of freedom” by the end of the week. But as the counselors attempt to psychologically break down each of the campers, a mysterious killer starts claiming victims, and they must reclaim their power if they’re going to survive the horrors of the camp.

Screw the killer, who cares. But they get MISPRONOUNED!!!
Ah I think I got the 'empowered' bit. Most probably what will happen is that all the LGBT kids will survive while the teachers will be killed. Or maximum one LGBT kid will die because I don't think they'd market the film as an LGBT slasher if all the kids died because then there will be articles talking about how the film is problematic etc
