When I want to play games locally, like split screens, I just can't do it with my account for more than one player, something in my controller config got broken, and the problem occurs no matter the PC I am login in with my account.

One controller works tough.

I've recently tried account of one of my friends and the problem resolved using that account, but it's not my account in the end and it was just for testing, so it is problem with my Steam account/big picture mode/ Steam cloud.

I want to know if it's possible to complete reset the controllers settings in my account so I can finally play with more than one controller.

Basically, While my Steam account does recognize both controllers inputs simultaneously and they are connected and turned on, only one controller inputs works at the time, and it does not recognize them as separate controllers.

It's seems to be controller config cloud related, and I am having hard time fixing this.

Would glad for some tips or help.

Try resetting the entire Steam installation:

1) Go to Steam folder
2) Delete everything EXCEPT steam.exe and SteamApps folder (because the games are located in there)
3) Run steam.exe, it will recreate and repopulate all other folders, including user data and belonging configuration

It will not damage anything but you'll have to re-log in.

I understand he tested on his computer using another account, not his account on another computer.

I suspect there's something wrong with his Steam\userdata\ID folder, but resetting the entire installation is probably the fastest way, esp. if it has never been done (I do it about once a year just to "refresh" it).

Bah, ok sorry, I understood the otherway.
Then of course as you have told: remove those files.

I found it surprisingly easy to completely break Steam's controller schemes to the point nothing really works anymore, it had to with Steam-level options conflicting with game-specific options iirc, can't really recall Razz I ended up just completely turning Steam's controller support off altogether so it didn't mess with games which don't even need it.. Hopefully a reset clears the slate so you can configure it properly Very Happy

Well, I tested my account using Gforce Now streaming and it logged to my steam account and the problem still occurred Neutral

It was on my LG C1.

Also, I tried hard reset My PC months ago and it didn't do shit to fix it.

Maybe, as a last shot, you can try connecting "problematic" controllers and then uninstall them from the Device Manager (or even better, View -> Show Hidden Devices and uninstall all controllers). Maybe this will trigger some rescan procedure within Steam and rebuild configuration for your account...

Well, still didn't work. something is fucked in my cloud, and one controller connecting, seems to conflicting with other controllers.
