6.8/10 on imdb with only around 300 reviews, very uncommon for a new show + few reviews.. this will end up with a score of around 5.8/10..

Seen both episodes. Not exactly sure what they're trying to do. The serpent thing seems like a subplot and we get a lot of focus on what feels like irrelevant characters and events. Also it is very preechy at times.
