Season was like all other seasons.. Good..Bad..Good..Bad...
Always a mix of ups and downs..
Finale was very very good.
Ill keep watching it due to the high ups and just deal with the down episodes..

My main gripe is that, while they take all that and exposure to flesh out the characters and story, it seems that COD kids write some part of it, because "these cool youngsters know what's up" or something.
Spoiler: |
Fringe, a guy that never trusts anyone, and is most cautious, hires a commando team that was trained at the Kinder Chocolate Kingdom, with 1h/day of CS:S?
Because that last scene had my eyes roll every second. And they botch those moments, not especially action-y ones, with that type of "lets do this cause it's cool" type of crap.
Anyway, as stated above by others, it's still clearly worth a watch, but WHY O WHY would you do that type of shit when you ACE others so well? |

@HubU you are correct of course, but that's just how BB and this series are written. Easy way out. Make things more exciting.

@HubU
Spoiler: | No one really said it was GUS that hired those men. Remember how Lalo outshone Bolsa's batch of money for Eladio? Hector certainly didn't like Fring doing that to him.
Or hell, what if it WAS Gus, but he orchestrated it so that it'd look like it was Bolsa...
OR something completely different. Never underestimate the BB/BCS writers

Oh no, he states so quite plainly. Maybe you missed it It was just one sentence, so that's fair.

Holy mother of avocados, that was one hell of a triple-A cliffhanger
The increasing ambiguity in the character development process and all its internal conflicts made the season extremely captivating for me, with Bob Odenkirk's superb acting (more than ever, really) elevating the tension to a new level, palpable and believable. The final episodes were especially Breaking Bad-esque, always a plus as far as I'm concerned. Lalo's addition was a brilliant one as well, you never know what to expect from someone like him since the pauses and smiles could both be sincere and absolutely menacing at the same time
Well done Vince&Peter, well done. Now onto the long wait *checks the phone signal*

Curious that it happens right after he had to get in his best shape of his life (for the movie Nobody)..

It could also be the vaccine
But yeah a lot of insurance companies try to deter actors from commiting extensive physical changes to their bodies for acting. And oftentimes they're drastic changes and very unhealthy. In Mr. nobody his physique was on display for like 8 minutes tops didn't need to be, he could have had a tank top on and a body plate.
Glad he's doing better. He's a treasure.

I was genuinely concerned the other day when there were no updates on his health, then after nearly 24 hours his son finally posted a reassuring message. Dammit Bob, serious but thankfully manageable. S'all good man.

I am ok with half seasons if they release a whole half instantly, like with Ozark or JoJo Stone Ocean, but fuck this shit.

Nice start, although I'm kinda bored with everybody always falling for Saul's crazy schemes without question. Even when they suspect him, no worries that was his plan all along.
It's also funny that the cartel storyline is far more interesting that main character's.
Gus, Mike, Nacho, Lalo & the Salamancas...
Saul, Kim, Howard, the Kettlemans, etc...

That was always the case with this show, thats why it was a snoozefest for the first 3 seasons.

IMO The best part of the show up to the ABBA song.
The Cartel part could be an intersting spinoff on his on, but is just dragging and diluting the Saul´s story arc, and thats a shame..

It's an absolute dragfest, always was. its all just character building, after several seasons that gets tiring. not saying they're doing that part particularly badly but when that's the main theme for almost everyone the rest really suffers. it's so laser-focused on that.
could've been so awesome if in season 2 he started lawyering for interesting criminals and getting into all sorts of trouble (so more like how he is in Breaking Bad). but nah, that's like 1% of the show.

This series is so fucking bad.. Saul and kim acting like 15 year olds, still messing with Howard.
How is it still a thing, this theme is so overdone + makes no sense at all. Maybe it would've been at least somewhat funny, if he'd actually done something really, really bad.. All they've done is portray him as your typical generic rich dude (who's even offered helping Saul).
Everything is still moving at a snails pace.
I've only endured because the acting is super solid, time to put it to rest.
