20 minutes in when the giant hole appears.. i directly thought "they're gonna use that to dispose of a corpse, and it's not going to be a great idea".. sure enough i guess we'll see if it's a good idea or not but i can guess it comes back to haunt them in one way or the other also the ending scene was really well done, we're supposed to believe it's our main protagonist(?) who falls down, but it can also be him standing and looking down (with the starlit sky behind him, looking like a void) while the woman falls..

It's very nonsensical though. Why would he want to keep the hole as secret from the start?
Using something that could become one of the worlds largest investigations as a grave for someone who's murdered, uh ok, great idea!

time travel

yeah, american version of Dark, but for the aMeRiCaN auDience, way more simplistic (so far) and not as good.

the writing is pretty crappy to be honest. like they're setting up a situation where one of the characters (Rhett) isn't supposed to pick up the phone, and a cop is instructed to watch him so that he doesn't do this. eventually the cop confronts him, and in THIS moment he just casually uses the phone and the cop doesn't do shit. lol. that was so bad, such a fake and crappy set-up and it wasn't exciting or added anything it just makes you go WTF?

Also it feels fake how they're setting up the quirky characters. the one that sings and the land-owner one that talks about his cock. they're really bad and fake because they only have this specifik quirk and nothing else, very poorly written characters.

Brolin is a good actor and his wife here too.. but he's also just obnoxious, totally unlikeable, he hasn't done 1 good deed this whole time. he's either cranky or angry, still we're supposed to root for him / the family when in fact they're scum, criminals. They totally forgot to make the characters likeable in some way apart from being good at acting.

also lol at the hippie chick that tries to murder Royal and he forgives her directly and is very happy to talk to her and overall friendly. Then the writers seems to remember that he's supposed to be at least a little hostile for the murder attempt so they make him meet her in that bar where they play cards and now he's acting super pissed at her. lol

also "mysterious stones." fuck you the stuff of children shows.
