I get serious framedrops during this game, I have a pIV 2.3 GHz with a radeon 9800 pro.

Turned all the graphic options to 0 in the launcher menu and the res to 640*480 but same problem over and over... I believe it has something to do with the lighting effects in the game. But there's no option to turn these of ingame or in the launcher.

Is there maybe a way to override the game and turn these lighting options off?

Theres been framedrop problems in Crashday with the same problem for ati cards. From memory what they said was install the latest omega drivers and apply the soft9800 patch and this has worked for them atleast

Yeah, I'm running a 9600 and it runs like a slideshow even on the lowest settings. If anyone can tell me what to try it'd be great.

It has nothing to do with ATI - I got a GeForce 6600GT and I'm having framedrops and major lags at any given moment. Note that I have 1.5GB of ram and games like splinter cell or fear run smoothly.

my laptop doesn't run games as well as my desktop either ... Did you install the patch that came with the reloaded release?

no, I haven't got the patch I don't wanna get the reloaded release because I already have the clone. Is it just the official one or is it some patch reloaded made?

I have no problem with fps @ 1600x1200

So if you have bad fps, guess its the drivers who fuck up others fps =\

No, it's an official patch ... but it looks like it's just a multiplayer fix.

I'm wondering if this framedrop problem is just for the clone release...

Try playing the game in freeskate, It runs perfect but the second I start story mode it runs like crap. I think it's because of the loading thing.
