Moonshot (2022) 6/10

I found it quite endearing after all the crap I watched lately.
A romantic comedy that is nothing special, but it has a space theme so yay. Smile

Wow! This was surprisingly well done! Normally I hate 1950 gangster movies, slow paced..Well, this one was actually done right. Good pacing, great acting, and what plot twists over and over.. I am not a tailor, Im a cutter!

The Lost City - 6.5/10

It was way better than expection, action rom com in veins of grand adventure films of 80's, that's actually funny and not low brow shit humor.

The Fan 1996: Hadn't seen this in a long time, possibly underrated. DeNiro is so goddamn good, I actually found the first half hard to watch, such a piece of shit unhinged character. Snipes was great in the supporting role, hoping he makes a comeback the next couple of years as he's reasonably versatile comedy, drama, action etc.

(Emo) Batman (2022): Boring, useless, why was this made?

3/10.

Quite insignificant.

Alcohol was/is involved, the movie was utter crap still.

Nice. I sorta followed Wests careers since VHS and his stuff was weak - cheap thrills and cheap effects. Like ajas early stuff (high tension and furia / horror for the masses). MTV horror. Has he improved? Not a huge fan of horror but if he improved I'll check it out. Love watching horror directors evolve. They get more creative than many established directors.

The batman - 6.5 / 10
Can't really improve it. Can't cut it down. It's ok. Pattison delivers as Batman.
Riddler is nice. Everything else is weak but drives the story. If movie had a different story maybe it could be better. Catwoman made it weaker. Her story line made it weaker. It added nothing to the batman. Added plenty to the story which was weak.

He walks like he has a stick up his ass. He's not menacing. He knocks guys in 1 punch in poorly choreographed action scenes. He was ok but not spectacular, Christian Bale was.

Was ok, but too <current year> at times with the 'merican id(soc?)pol ("Bad people that aren't white? Huh?!") for me.

Spodermann No Way Home - 7/10
Memberberries kinda saved this one, because without those it was the typical stale marvel formula.

The Batman—6/10

Really empty, with good performances. But the plot was paper thin. It took 3 hours to basically have an episode of Law & Order. They tried to present the whole thing as a big mystery, slowly revealing the conspiracy, but is just paper thin. At least the whole thing was done in a respectable way, and I didn’t find it boring, unlike Spiderderp. But they are already talking about a “spinoff” with DeVito, so they will take this universe into the absurd.

Year 2 of batman without raaaaaaaaaaas training him.
Batman begings had raaaaaaaaaaas training him.

So battison is using raw rage to fight and you can see that in choreography. Bale was good as Bruce Wayne. Batmen he could barely talk Laughing 1 and 2 had best villains. 3 was best technically wise. I. M. O.

If they continue this, we will see him grow into a dark knight. Right now he's just a kid with a bank account and a fancy suit.

Ambulance (M.Bay): 4/10

I'm 50 mins in may not continue, no shot is longer than 2-3 seconds, also a lot of annoying shaky cam. So its a 2h action action set-piece with people yelling at each other for a script..meh

I've not played the games or know the franchise, better than tomb-raider movies, maybe more like Pirates of Caribbean in tone.

Uncharted (2022) 6/10

Was an ok adventure movie, but I think it could have done without the Uncharted brand as it felt like another version of "National Treasure" for some reason. Very Happy
Mark Wahlberg played Mark Wahlberg as always, did not get Sully vibes from him.

Metal Lords (2022) 5,5/10

An ok movie about 2 teenagers wanting to form a heavy metal band.

The Batemon, ho, hm, mixed about this. Had some really well shot scenes, and some that were so dark you could almost see what was happening. Didn't like they made him emo, injustice... Also Zoe Kravitz playing the usual bitch character again. Pattinson did good as Batman though, but his Bruce was meh. Overall, enjoyable, and the darker tone fit quite well, but it's far from Nolan's TDK quality, still 7/10. Oh, and nice to see Riddler, which was done well.

The orange-tinted TwiBats Saga - 5.9/10

A pretty standard flick as far as the subject matter goes, with its own dose of deja vus, convenient godmode sessions and stormtrooper-isms. Longer than it should have been and almost devoid of any real pathos despite the attempt to focus on the melodramatic detective work, though the cast is adequate and Pattinson is a believable Batemon - the one that spends his nights trying out different brands of eyeliners while listening to My Chemical Romance. At least it does have quite a few interesting shots, it's something in the way ♩♫

Uncharted : 6/10
Just like the game. Big QTE set pieces. Shitty story. Maybe a sequel will improve on its flaws. Even if it weren't related to uncharted, it's still shit. I expected a little bit more umpf in the action department, but it lacked. Severely. Boring. 2 points for the cameo. It reminded me how much I dislike uncharted franchise.

The Batman 6.5/10
Dunno what to say, love the direction they took and the whole movie is really good looking - but the slow pace and constant whispering got made it feel like they just wanted make it last longer without adding much.
Pattison was good as batman, and i liked the part where they left out most of the background - since we all know most of it by now. The combat was quite good, felt more realistic (well, kind of anyway) and great visuals.
However, this is supposed to be a superhero movie (even if its not an over the top kind of superhero) and it ended up being a more serious version of "defendor".
Then again, perhaps that's just what they wanted it to be. Taking it from the silly 60's series to the 80's comical movies - followed by Christopher Nolan's vision up to this more down to earth alike batman.

Anyway, let's see what the next part in this reboot gives us.

Edit: I did like the riddle, he reminded me of Saw Razz

shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.
