Online only = no way I'm paying for it. Doubt I've played FO76 and GTAV online more than a few hours, combined, and they're apart of some of my favourite game series.

I highly doubt GTA 6 will be online only, then of course i wouldn't be interested. That would be a rather big deviation from anything they've done.
But they've realized the subscription service works as an excuse "its only so we can give you continuous updates to your oNLiNE eXpeRiEnCE!!!".
Nothing new for consoles. Elden Ring online is also behind a pay-wall, in fact it think all their games are for PS4-5, because i know i got that message for one other game from them, that i don't get the online-portion.

The difference is you pay for the access to online like you pay your ISP and not per game.

@WaldoJ: Makes no sense to waste money, we know how greedy 2K is. They definetly not gonna pay 12% when they can cash that in in their own pockets.
Only way i can see this happening if the exclusive deal would exclude the margin for Epic for the time being.

whatever they're gonna lose, they'll make that+ more in the exclusivity deal.
