Not to sidetrack topic...but lucky you! I'd be in heaven if I had one. I have dabbled making music, as in started millions of peices and never finished them, since I was in my teens. I got all the 'enthusiast basic' stuff. A DAW, ASIO external steingburg ci2 sound card/device, monitor speakers on my PC, moog midi controller (no moog synth keyboard..sadly), korg midi pad, etc.
I'd be a shut in hermit, and my wife would have to sneak in and tackle me to drag out me to go eat and sleep if I had a setup like this:

Best thing about those as Junkie XL (the guy in the vid) and you mentioned too, is it's SORT of like generative music in itself playing with them: You know what you want to try to get out of it, but what you get usually surprises you, and many things in your finished music you didn't plan on but liked the sound of it made and incorporated it instead of exactly what you had in your head.

there are a few digital modular systems now that you can play with, and for free (well, i guess you can pay for them too, if you want). its just not the same though, but good enough to spend some hours with i'm sure. sotftube modular i think one is called.
yeah i play around a lot with generative patches, it's a lot of fun indeed, never gets old.
