Obviously you never watched Gomorra (the tv series)
Dam thanks for the reply, that looks bad though usualy 123moviesgoto has some good cams, it has a good one of spider man and uncharted but i dont want to see those movies anyways, ill post batman once its up.
I saw this Saturday in the worst cinema ever, sadly. It was pretty good. It's more like a detective movie with bits of intense action. The music was great and the acting was spot on. The narrative is sectioned into segments of exposition with their own climaxes that slowly build up towards the final act.
On the negative side, there was a blatant moment of social justice, Batman soaks way too many bullets from increasingly higher calibers and there's a narrative slowdown just before the climax that wasn't handled very well.
i Caved in and watched that awful cam, but im glad i didnt build up more hype for the bluray release, what an absolutely atrocious script, nonsensical, too many plots going on, so unfocused, weak villains, cinematography was great and the way batman carries himself is better than bale for sure, bruce wayne is so weak though, he cant do bruce wayne at all, wich seems to have been a concious decision.
Nolan movies werent perfect, the beloved dark knight movie has issues, but man, its so much better than this, its not even comparable, they rly didnt knew what they were doing in terms of a story here, at all, wich is a shame, the production is top notch, that suit rly works and the voice is miles better than bale (my only real gripe with bale movies). The detective work in this is apreciated but at the same time it makes batman and gordon look like dumbasses, i couldnt believe the riddles and how they solved them, mixed with the really bad script and lack of direction in the plot, wow. Ppl giving this a 10/10 need their head checked.
I think ppl were so caught up on how gritty it looks and how finaly batman does detective work that they didnt rly pay attention to the story in this movie, its quite nonsensical, rly one of the worst ive seen in the past few years.
The political messaging in this, i am someone that does not want to be lectured in movies about political views, this has been an ongoing issue, but i think this was has a lot of it in it, but it subtely injected into the "plot" so ppl wont be so critical of it or its gonna go over their heads, theres something catwoman says that changes the entirety of the message in this movie and rly ruins it too, not that it was good to begin with but still, jesus christ.
Im glad i actualy saw the cam, since i could see it has good cinematography but couldnt enjoy it, i wasnt biased by it, so i focused on the story and dialog, and i think this is another reason ppl are enamorated with this movie, it looks good on the surface, but thats it rly.
The movie is pretty good, imo. Better than most of the recent DC stuff.
I had a hickup at that particular sentence too but, ffs don't focus on that.
There is nothing wrong with liking a movie for its aesthetics. And the cinematography is not something that makes you biased, its part of the experience. The story simply could have been told in less time and it would have been ok. And there is a particular moment at the end, that is very well played by both characters that explains alot of it but doesn't get enough exposure imo.
Anyway, this movie is a must see for everyone who likes the character. And it deserves the cinema experience.
For a comicbook movie, a solid 8/10.
For everyone else probably more like a 7/10.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
