you know thats literally one thing of many they mentioned in that thread? but you picked that one, obviously
I saw that thread hours ago as I have been tracking Nexusmods, Steam forums, PCGamingwiki and Reddit all day in the hopes of finding a stutter fix.
None of them work, they're all bullshit. It sounds like most people had their settings wrong and weren't getting the best out of their hardware to begin with. A boost is a boost, but none of it fixes the stuttering, I've also tested on two machines.
That retard needs to STFU and go back to faggotERA. I'll believe it when durante says this.
Didn't hear anything from Durante and i kinda doubt he will comment on it he's busy with his porting studio these days, Kaldaien is looking into it though.

didnt dl the game yet(yarr ver)
Would disabling easy anti cheat on the yarr version help with performance?
Regarding the phenomenon of frame rate and other performance-related issues during gameplayWe will be constantly working to improve the game so that it can be played comfortably on various PC environments and platforms.
For the PC version, updating your graphics card drivers to the latest version may significantly improve performance.
This game is a joke without guides yet again. Where do you find smithing stones ? Where do you find Sacred Tears ? Literally explore the entire map until you stumble upon them ? No wonder people play for a million hours.
I don't know what these people are smoking. Tried "free version" and it ran smooth as butter, at least on High settings, Maximum is prob less, but it still looks fine and playable, like Sekiro etc. Even detected Xbox wireless controller right away. Looks exactly like Dark Souls, same animations, effects. Same game.

"I dont have any issues so it should work for everyone. Dunno why it has under 60% on steam."
okay.
Jesus Christ, forget the first part then. I was just saying what is my experience and you attack childishly something else. It's such a arrogant attitude from some gamers, so boring and old. Be grateful that someone says the game works, damn.

Completely agreed. I acknowledge that some people prefer the "no guidance at all" stance of this game, but honestly if you can't put in 100+ hours it sucks.
I am now at the first (real) boss (at the bridge) which is kicking my ass. What do I need to do now? Did I miss some better weapons that would make it easier? Am I underleveled? Do I just need to git gud?
Surely there is no "right" answer and any of those options is probably valid, but it's just so fucking easy to waste 2 hours on something that doesn't help you at all...

- Albert Camus
I 'personally' was pretty much done with Dark Souls formula after DS2. Fighting Ornstein & Smough was such a nerv racking experience in DS1, barely finished DS2. No patience anymore to waste my time on some boss - it feels rewarding eventually, but generally not worth it. For new players it's fun I guess, but I am done with this series, only checking it out for a few hours or so...

The first part implies that the folks who have issues are somehow not seeing clearly. This is why you got the snark response that you did. Clearly.
. . .and when you said you "tried" the pirated version of the game are you talking about the intro, because that runs fine until you transition to a new "cell" (or whatever triggers loading) and out into the overworld. If you do not experience stuttering, game slowdown or wild FPS swings then congratulations, you've somehow stumbled upon the one configuration of system components that eliminates all issues.
The first part was meant to these people, who trash the game, because they are not getting original Microsoft gamepad to work like that Worthabuy guy - it was bloody ridiculous, do not buy, because for whatever reason they can't get the controller to work. These kind of people, who are clearly overreacting and want everything work perfectly day 1. I am gonna play the game more and if I reach the overworld, we'll see.

Your post seemed to be performance based, though if someone isn't able to get their controller to work, I think that would be an issue worth noting wouldn't you say?
. . .and yeah. I kind of want the things I've paid for to work out of the box. Would you buy a car if the dealer said you're gonna need to wait a few weeks before you can actually get it running?
If you expect everything to work perfectly, especially today after Cyberpunk fiasco, then I wouldn`t be so naive anymore. Dream on... And yes, I have feeling tthis person has some kind of personal PC issue, if they can't get gamepad to work. Such a stupid joke imo.
Played the plaza release since i had it d\l'ed, M&kb not as bad as i feared, and i havent had any stutters, played until you get the horse, so a solid bit.
Kept it on recommended settings(high) as my computer is getting ancient:
Intel I5 6500 3.2 ghz, 16 gb ram, gtx 1660 super.
Plays fine for me, which i didn't expect.
Still shit at playing these games, though

Did you fight the Tree Sentinel? I skipped him at first but now went back to him and yeah, that fucker causes a lot of stutter for some reason.

Well you managed to finish DS2 which was made by the "B" team and featured the cheapest encounters and had the most annoying gameplay of the entire Fromsoft catalogue, so i guess you can hang a feather in your hat for that one. You missed a good one in DS3.
