It feels more and more that it's a social contagion...
That's what Abigail Shrier wrote about in her investigative book..
Suddenly a ridiculous number of girls declare themselves to be suffering from gender dysphoria. Up until recently it was mostly males who were affected and diagnosed with this disorder.
And more and more brave (considering they are immediately getting targeted by "transgender activists") adult gay women who exhibited gender nonconforming behavior when they were children\teens, say that had they been growing up in the modern days they would have thought they were trans and had to face all the consequences of this decision (irreversible surgery, puberty blockers that have unknown effects on a developing child etc)
Most girls and boys with gender nonconforming behavior turn out to be gays. They don't really suffer from gender dysphoria disorder.
I wonder whether Page was officially diagnosed by professionals or not.. It looks like nowadays all it takes is to tweet about it.
Thats because the concepts of gender ideals, gay or trans not really describe what these people really feel like about themselves. And when in time we come up with better or more precise concepts to describe a certain psychological or physiological phenomenon, people can change their mind and say, well this new concept better describes what I always felt like than this older concept.
Imagine there were only 256 colors from which to chose to create a picture and imagine having 16,7 million colors. You wouldn't chose the same colors.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
Didn't they do that in S2? Whatever her/his name is I think it happened during last season. Not really that concerned about it though. The show is mildly entertaining but not something I care that much about.
I mean good for him doing what makes him happy but honestly he's just a weird looking small guy now.
I wonder what he will do after this gig is over because unless Netflix starts making shows tailor made for him i don't really see him getting much work now, he was not a great actor to begin with.
Anyway at least they made it quick and painless, season is not all that great tbh the writing is all over the place and i got really bored halfway and fell asleep maybe i will finish it this weekend.

She's just a weird girl pretending to be a guy you mean. Moronic people today being manipulated and influenced into thinking all kinds of idiocy.
Honestly i don't care one way or another and Page was always weird from what i remember he/she never really looked very happy maybe it works out for him or it doesn't.
i just gave this show another chance after the pilot didnt hooked me back when it launched but given the positive reviews about the show decided to try to watch it again.
show is just mediocre but not boring, some good scenes here and there, the standout is probably number 5, first season is the better one, darker tone, more misterious etc, second one just kept repeating itself but shit is more lighter and meh setting with even more nonsense thrown at you, just like preacher was which was good at first then went too much.
is season 3 again about stopping the apocalypse? are the comics like this too? it has bad reviews
The third season wasn't bad. The second episode - the pandering to Ellie - Elliot sex change was the worst and apparently the actor didn't want that but writers just went full woke.
Vanya/Victor become the worst character - ultra whiny and whimpy.
As for SteFan7 - it has characters and some plot points from the comics. The comic books are much more bonkers and weird, greatly inspired by "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" but with disfunctional kids. It had supervillains, aliens, more talking monkeys, overall much much better and darker than the tv series. At least first two volumes, the third was meh.
From the interview with showrunner - Netflix gave small budget for it, and while adapting they had to forgo most of the cooler things from the source material.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
4-th season was rather mediocre, worst among all of them.
Even in previous seasons I noticed Robert Sheehan was playing the same character he played in 'Misfits', but in this season even the plot devices were similar (buried alive).
