Hey, she could be orange for all I care. I just saw the article on it that included a picture of the dad when he was younger, and figured I'd state what the article said. A lot of Black Americans like to use the one drop rule, so even 1 percent makes them Black. It's all a bit silly. Whether she is 5 percent Black, or 25, the mere fact that it is even a topic of debate during the Olympics is sad. How about her skill level at Skeleton...where is the article on that? The whole thing is a joke.

If someone starts calling him/herself a Samoan or Native American (with little or no proof) it would also trigger these minority groups because if everyone starts using those terms very clown or troll-like (like here) then those terms becomes more like a meme that no one takes seriously, eventually it removes the benefits and uniqueness of belonging to a minority group.
