A month ago it was still 33 € and about 42 € for the deluxe. I locked in 2 copies of the deluxe for 44 € each but those are completely sold out at cdkeys now. It's never a good idea to wait until the last few days, prices tend to increase as supply decreases.

Buy it > test it > refund it if it's no good or runs like shit because of DRM
Waiting for a crack to test the game isn't necessary with Valve's refund policy
But yes it is a dick move, and obviously all publishers know to do this now

Not the most high performing game, but he does say its completely maxed. Im sure there'll be some volumetric setting that halves the performance somewhere in there. For consoles, they claim it has three modes, one more shit than the other.
This new console world they have now is chosing what stuff to lose: want "high" framerate (60 is anything but high)? Then you have low res and shit image quality. Want some minimalistic RT ? Then also low res and unstable framerate. Want good image quality ? Then some faux 4k at 30 for you.

Steam refund is only quick if you take the money back in steam wallet form. It can take weeks for some if you actually want the money back in your bank.
I'm a very patient pirate, I got all year or even two for an all patched cracl version

By the time this game gets cracked, we'll have a relatively bug-free release with all DLCs and shit. Thankfully, there's a shitload of games to play in the meantime.

I got a "streamer" key titled "Dying Light 2 For Beta Testing". So I can play right away. The full game download is 43GB.
Gonna do some benchmarking with the new nvidia drivers.

Cdkeys are fuckers too. They just refunded my 2 keys because they ran out of deluxe keys. I ordered Jan 4th, what the hell...

I have been playing for a little bit over an hour now.
Running at 4k, max settings with DLSS quality and ray tracing on my RTX 3090 with increased FOV. Performs very well. 90-100 fps. Game looks and feels amazing. It even has PS5 DualSense adaptive trigger support on the pc.
Really really solid game so far.

That combat (2nd video) looks so damn satisfying, if a bit easier than DL1, which had one of the best melee combat in any FPS game.

The texture's quality is so cheap in a lot of places and that bloom is just annoying. The combat looks satisfying, but I'm afraid they will fuck up the sense of exploration.

But if you look at the game, you can see the put very little effort in the lighting. In fact, the more content I see, the more I think Metro: Last Light, a 3 years old game, looks better than this.
