Game still looked a bit rough around the edges in those streamer previews (glitchy animations, gore seemed to be downgraded from first game, bad night time lighting), will have to wait and see once it's released.

As long as you can free roam im happy, I did however really like the cars you got in the expansion. I hope they have something similar this time.
No vehicles afaik, plus practically no firearms either. No doubt saving those for another fuckton of DLC.
These games are designed to be played with such mechanics. Not using them only wastes your time because most devs don't put that much effort into providing the clues that will lead you to secrets and stuff.
Afaik there hasn't been a single denuvo-crack for a big title since Resident Evil 8: Village in July 2021. This might take a while.. a long while.
The list of uncracked games is quite long and includes game such as "Kings Bounty II 2021-08-24", "Deathloop 2021-09-14", Far Cry 6 2021-10-07", "Crysis Remastered Trilogy 2021-10-15", "Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy 2021-10-26" etc.
When it comes to Denuvo - Dying Light 2 Stay Human was in
development for seven years; throughout that period, over fifteen
hundred people invested their time and talent into making the game. To
protect the efforts of the whole team from piracy we suffered when we
released Dying Light 1, we’ve included the Denuvo system, at least for
the launch period. It’s a solution used widely for AAA games nowadays. Being
gamers ourselves, we understand your concerns, and we want to ensure
that it will not impact your gaming experience. We continue putting
extra resources into testing the game, and at this stage, we do not see
any noticeable impact on the performance. We’ll be actively reviewing feedback during the game’s launch. Do not hesitate to share yours with us too.
i was thinking i should waste a few more dollars and get the deluxe version because i played dying light 1 years ago and didn't pay for it.. but nah i'm ok now.
i'll likely still pick up the normal version assuming it doesnt flop in the first two hours of release, which is more than i can say for deathloop where i just couldn't be fucked with denuvo. although if i'm feeling particularly salty about denuvo on release day, i'll wait a year just to spite DRM not a fan of paying for shit i can't play offline.
