Oh sorry... all your posts are passively stupid and meaningless. |
Just like yours?
50%(or more) of your posts its angry, complaining, useless and just made up to get attention.
Atleast i don't post things to make people mad. Like telling shit about races, religion etc. Well i don't care so much about the last one. But still you have no rights to talk bullshit about the jews. Yes they have done lots of shit, but not for you...
and if you read all my 29xx posts you'll prolly find around 50 not that useless |
If I wanted attention then I would create like 5 topics a day or so, I believe I haven't created any topic that have craved attention like a dousin of topics here (ex: My Poem on General Chat), you say that I have no right to talk "bullshit" about different religions you say, you know, I have all possible rights to talk the thing you call "bullshit", I just have to face the consequences, which I do. | Yeah its not against the law... But still its no point if you don't really know what its all about. What kind of impression you have got trough the media or whatever. So its just stupid. You always have short posts with some agressive shit in. Or just pure bullshit. But i know both of our posts its full of meaningleass shit(atleast for the people reading this tread). And i prolly started it. All im saying its you don't have any more meaningful posts than me. If you have pm\make a tread for them and show me And no; complaining is not useful. Atleast not imo. so... your an bigger asshole than me
And im a fuckin' spammer. Because i post alot everyday. I just didn't want to waste your enery writing back something simular to this. I know, don't tell me.
and btw: please can't someone make me a nice "medal in offtopic" please

Missing some countries there... Turkey is the only country with loss of human life. But its found in some more countries too; russia, england. But people are deadly afraid of this, so many is overreacting. Just like some stupid people tought the cartoons of muhammed would make war in Norway and Denmark -.- (we're both in NATO:))

God damn... Relax. If it mutates, well then we are fucked if it does not you have been worrying for nothing the last year...
There's reports of diseases all the time. Remember Ebola anyone? It was destined to pwn us all, did it? Nope.
There's so many diseases that potentially can mutate into something worse. Why worry about this one? Because it is all over the news. Whenever the news stops reporting about it people will chill out, but will it be gone? Fuck no.
I am still not worried. If they report that it has mutated and people are dying all over the place in asia, europe and whatever... Then I will worried. Before that, I don't feel like wasting time sitting here on thinking about something that MIGHT happen.

All you need to is goggle it, the world is concerned. Just the money and jobs that will be lost on dead chickens is alarming. And just like AIDS nobody thought it was anything to worry about.
Better safe than sorry.

AIDS was also condemned to be the end of mankind but we (western countries) are doing just fine. The only ones who will be hit worse are 3rd world countries IMO.

The biggest problem with AIDS probably was the fact that it was a new kind of disease, very few got in the beginning and it took a while before the effects were documented.
Think about it, its like 30years since AIDS was discovered, it spreads mostly in countries were people are very poor or where religion forbids use of protection. Even if AIDS is a disease that kills and you never recover from it (except some oddly documented people that it has vanished from) I think it will be defeated in time. People in africa and other countries gets more knowledge about it each day, HIV tests are getting better and general knowledge is a lot higher than it was 30 years ago.
Sure medicine is getting somewhat useless as the HIV virus is growing more reistant to it, still I believe it will be defeated before it wipes out mankind.
I remember a few years ago when I saw a program on TV about viruses and stuff. It was about Ebola and how dangerous it could become if it spread, some virues that some squirrels in mexico had that were very lethal to humans and a few more. How come none of them still haven't became major killing machines?
Back to the Bird Flu. If the virus has existed for such a long time (discovered like 10 years ago) I see no reason for why it should have a bigger chance to mutate today than it had those years ago.
I can imagine 3rd world countries having a hard time if it would mutate however I can't imagine it would have such world wide impact as the spanish flu had. Better possibilites to actually do something about diseases and much better health among people will make it a lot harder for something like that to happen again.
Todays infrastructure could be a problem as it potentioally can spread quick with people travelling around the world and so, but still I can't really see it get as bad as some seem to believe.
I still believe that going around thinking and planning about what to do if it happens is a vaste of energy. There is no way to prepare for a disease that you have no idea how it will behave when mutated. Maybe it mutates so it spreads between humans by air, but perhaps it will at the same time mutate "too much" so it won't be lethal anymore.

With the "killing machines" part I referred to the other viruses I mentioned in my post, now HIV/AIDS.
Countries with religion against protection... lets mention Poland for example, HIV spreads as hell there as condoms are not allowed by religion there.
Africa on the other hand has people all over the place, little information about sexual diseases and it would be a hard time to get people to realize the risks with it.

no not really...
Wikipedia wrote: |
HIV is transmitted by mosquitoes
There is no evidence for this. Therefore, there is no need to fear catching HIV from a mosquito bite. When mosquitoes bite a person, they do not inject the blood of a previous victim into the person they bite next. Mosquitoes do, however, inject saliva into their victims, which may carry diseases such as dengue, malaria, yellow fever or the West Nile virus, thus infecting the person being bitten. However, HIV is not transmitted this way (Webb et al., 1989). On the other hand, a mosquito may have HIV-infected blood in her gut, and if swatted on the skin of a human who then scratches it, transmission may occur (Siemens, 1987). This risk is very small, and no cases have yet been identified through this route. |

It is simple, if you find yourself unprepared for this BF, then don't cry about it later.
50% mortality, looks like this forum might thin out a little.

In my opinion it a little overrated, but i think that is ok for me as a citizen to think. But when it comes to the goverments, i want them to be a little hysterical and go to some eksta lenghts just in case.

If it mutates and gets real bad you might aswell be affected before even knowing about it. In the time it could take for the news to travel across the world people infected could already be infected heading for you hometown.
I think it is very overrated, but just as fraich3 said it is ok to think (but I do not think you should go all "omfg what if...") and that the government should take some precautions. Still noone knows if there's any medicine that will have any effect at all on a mutated version of it.

50% mortality if you catch it. Seems like 100% so far.
