Nothing short of using a earlier game exe and reverting the patch.
You can still use several console commands though but anything locked behind "ThisIsGreatGame" or "TwoWorldsCheats" will be completely restricted it seems.
This includes the obvious cheat cvars but also some other advanced tweaks and debug functionality, also there's multiplayer in the game but console usage there was already restricted so it's not because of that either.
we made several improvements to the game engine and added features like achievements and a marketplace ...We decided to release this improvement as a free update to all owners of the main game

Aren't you happy dear loyal gamers, you get free cancer!
THIS IS A STAND ALONE SINGLE PLAYER VERSION OF THE DLC "SHATTERED EMBRACE" for "Two Worlds II" (It does not require the main game and no prior experience with Two Worlds titles is needed, but it is only recommended for experienced RPG Players).
Picking up immediately after the events of "Call of the Tenebrae", you and your companions are stunned when the mythical, long lost Elves suddenly resurface on a remote island! But surprise quickly turns to alarm as the Elves reemergence brings a secret from the past with sinister echoes of the Tenebrae Order’s ancient evil! Now, with evil bearing down on the land and the unity of the races broken, the Shattered Embrace may spell doom for all of Antaloor!
With Dar Pha’s troubled mind assaulted by buried memories of her Elven heritage and an elite strike force of Adramelech’s zealots bearing down on you, you and your friends race to the Elven kingdom of Shadinar, only to find that the truce between Elves, Humans and Orcs has been shattered. In the kingdom of the Elves, seeds of distrust and prejudice planted long ago have borne bitter fruit and evil now wears many unexpected faces…
Explore the Elven kingdom of Shadinar on a vast, tropical island, where sunny, seemingly tranquil beaches are guarded by advanced machines and Elven magic. Pair with the Captain of the Royal guard and play detective in the biggest settlement in Two Worlds history as you investigate a dark plot and a brutal murder that threatens both the Kingdom and the royal family! Travel to lush forests and the steppes to hunt wild beasts outside the city walls for sport and ingredients, but don’t forget to equip yourself for your adventures and pick up side-quests in the bustling merchant port-town of Freehaven. Then, prepare yourself to enter a forbidden dimension, where a blood-red sun casts its sickly light on Hell itself and an ancient, slumbering god begins to stir!

Somehow still in business despite various setbacks and somehow this game just never ends though it looks like it's going for stand-alone expansions now.
Two Worlds 2
Two Worlds 2 Gold
Two Worlds 2 Call of the Tenebrae
Two Worlds 2 Shattered Embrace
And the brief in-between of Two Worlds 1.5 that became Two Worlds 2 I suppose.
Two Worlds 1 HD soon?
(Well it's a kinda complete game and I enjoyed it for what it was though it made Gothic and a few other "Euro-jank" RPG's seem downright polished in comparison. Or how to best describe it.)
Eh Reality Pump had some ideas but also some botched executions and since Raven's Cry they kinda doubled down and went a bit stupid with their games trying to force them to be good and even trying to turn it around just outright proving some things just can't be salvaged short of a full remake ha ha.
Other stuff got cancelled entirely or fell apart but somehow Two Worlds 2 just keeps going probably giving just a bit more revenue.
(Recent DLC for splitting up the sound track kinda also hint at a bade case of funding issues as I doubt the heavy discount sales helps them stay afloat.)
Could be wrong though, some manage but they probably need a publisher deal and financial stability and I don't see that happening and Kickstarter or Early Access are both very risky especially these days so it's these little DLC stand-alone expansions and I guess we will see just how much it can carry the studio.
(I don't expect it to be for very long unless something happens could be wrong though.)
EDIT: Hmm thought a trailer video at least of some sort was almost mandated for the Steam store, maybe not.
Elves, orcs and boobs and it's all on the same character!
That's all you need right, buy the game!
(See OrcElf boobs! )
(Darpas mask off for some fan service and as a new suite of armor we took .. the flying fortress platemail and colored it black...but boobs!)
(Super advanced specular highlight shaded ones too. See the next gen light glint effect!)
I liked Two Worlds 2 and the story DLC (Call of the Tenebrae) that was released two years ago.
I do hope they would conclude the whole story with this expansion.
Two Worlds 2 for me is a game that the more I try to play it the more I hate it. It's not even that bad, it's in fact way more competent of a game than the first one... AND YET... I have way fonder memories of the first game. I really loved that one despite how buggy and how simplistic in story and quests it was. I honestly don't even know. This studio has lost it completely though and I find it hard to care about what they bring out anymore. I imagine they keep making content for this because it was their most fleshed out game and they can just build from it new stuff since they can't afford to do any other projects. I'm astounded how they're still around even...

Yeah Two Worlds 1 had some good ideas and I found it a enjoyable experience though much of the game was very unfinished and several areas barely used.
Two Worlds 2 had improvements but even early on with the numerous invisible walls and linear progression and missing content it felt somewhat unfinished plus focusing on DLC and pre-order extras and I think this was also more when Reality Pump pushed some pretty bad takes and explanations and started getting more defensive.
(Though the private SDK / mod tools for the first game cut close to that too for how it was handled i suppose.)
Raven's Cry is just a unfinished mess and they really lashed out against criticism and kept defending using this by now ancient game engine and tech even trying to overhaul and re-release the game again only for it to unsurprisingly fall apart one more time.
So Two Worlds 2 was updated with a HD re-release and some smaller updates and then the Tenebrae DLC and stand-alone and some soundtracks and now this second stand-alone expansion / DLC.
Core and some of the design and ideas are good but I don't know it seems like it's going to be a slow decline as they keep trying to update and add content for existing titles which I only see being a temporary help unless they can land a bigger deal or have something new but with this taking up work and their attitude and such having also been a issue well I don't have high expectations.
Oh and the online account DRM but I think they switched to Steam entirely and other versions if available on GOG and the like are probably also no longer using that.
Some of these AA instead of AAA efforts can be genuinely good and surprising plus for the available time and budget and manpower pretty well made and just fun to play so we'll see how it goes but I don't see how how it could work out in the long run.
Never know though, Iron Lore came apart after Titan Quest but a few devs kept working on Grim Dawn and that saw a launch and the studio Crate Entertain as a result so Reality Pump might have a chance and might not even fold at all.
EDIT: Spell system was a fun one though although also a bit of a novelty for when not just going with what works plus some balancing and fixing of systems from the first game like combining items to upgrade them being tuned a bit.
Less Ye Olde English speech too not to forget that improvement for the sequel.
glad im not the only one who enjoyed two worlds 1. I enjoyed it for what it was. and also two worlds 2. I'll probably put this on my too play list. But, man, I am way way way way way behind at this point. Who even knows
PC Specs: A Maganavox' Odyssey
Tweaked to play Frogger, Lemmings & GTA4
Two Worlds 1 actually had quite a cool world that i enjoyed exploring, and some cool thought out mechanics. I do not recall any characters or story or even quests, very forgettable stuff. It's not a GOOD game, but a game that you could enjoy for the few things it did right. It's a game i'd probably laugh at today (having played so many other open world games, and better ones, back then they were quite rare.)
