Some scenes so far are derped as hell. Like the cave part with the bear. It reminded me of some adventure game where the spooky monster is in the cave, so you are blocked from re-entering it. LOL.

Even a close-up of Michael C. Hall staring at the screen for 10 episodes in a row with a resting bitch face on would be better than S08, but this surprise mothafucka sequel definitely is watchable so far.
There are too many forced coincidences in it, the mystery is very straightforward and I could live without the teen drama, but it has a good heart. One can tell that the original creator genuinely cares about the character and tried to replicate some of the old alchemy, things could have gone much worse especially in this day and age. Hopefully, the final episodes won't shit the cellophane bed again.

| Spoiler: | We must assume that Kurt figured the truth by putting together all the suspicions that he already had about Dex (constantly showing up at the right place/time, the body language and attitude, the fact that he knew Matt was actually driving the boat that killed those people back then, and so on). Technically Kurt realized that there was ash in the snowfall, which then led him to examine the incinerator only to find Matt's titanium screw, but there is no actual proof unless he (or one of his men) actually saw Dexter dumping the body that night. So yeah, at the end of the day I believe it's just the "it takes one to know one" television logic between two experienced killers. |

Managed to catch-up with this yesterday, so far so good.
Not even close as the first seasons but better than the garbage we were fed with those last ~2 seasons. And thank fuck they brought back deb (which seems to having a blast and has great chemistry with dex) and killed off shitty-ass hannah off screen, good riddance.
And dayum, harrison got it rough. Anyone would turn nuts with those memories of a bare ass naked 60yo john lithgow sweet talking you

damn what a fucking crazy episode, these last few episodes were amazing, cant believe its just one more to go... it would be fucking really nice to get a second season but i also see how it would probably be the end.
