MY REVIEW:
8.5/10
Like a card rogue like, with a SUPERHOT aesthetic, you go from mission to mission on a random "map" with encounters, ala Slay the Spire, except here you move on a 2D tactical map. The "map level" progression stays roughly the same, with a general path that divides then crosses again.
You have to win, and also get bonuses for accomplishing x within y turns. Your avatar (same dude, you just choose a different initial deck, each initial decks having a core concept [retaliation, aggressivity, defense, etc...]).
Your dude and cards can be upgraded along the way in specialized "stores", ala Monster Train (like it, you also chose which road you go down to, and you either choose Avatar or Cards upgrade "stores"). You use money you gain from encounters and accomplishing bonus objectives.
It's FUCKING AWESOME, I LOVE IT, IT'S UNFORGIVING AND REWARDING. Try it out, buy it. YOU'LL LOVE IT!

tried it out but it's not really my cup of tea unfortunately
reminds me of into the breach with it's focus on positioning and manipulating enemy attacks to your advantage and stuff
could use some better animations and sound effects
looks so weird when your character does some grab attack super quick and weightlessly.
could be a lot more satisfying in that regard than it is I think
cool concept though and overall seems pretty well made
