Rewatch. Been ~2-3 years since I last watched it since there's such a serious lack of good sci-fi mystery movies. This one is just okay, nothing to write home about though. It was def. better the first time I watched it.

Fun. Very fun. Predictable. Missed these guys. Not the best. Still fun though.

No Time to Die - 5,007/10

A few quality shots by Fukuman and a couple of engaging action scenes couldn't redeem the whole minestrone of poor writing, subpar characters and "intrigues" carried from their previous stories. Fragile's tears were expected as well so there wasn't even an element of surprise to it.
It's practically a decade-long tradition for Craig, as he peaked with the good ol' Casino Royale and then just remained anchored to the spot marked by the meh sign (Bond's favourite Cool Face). I would be tempted to say that this is an opportunity to improve the franchise, but the sensation is that the next cycle of movies is going to make me look back and miss when things were still mediocre.

Mortal Kombat (the most recent one) ?/10

After 25 min I was so bored that I started hitting the "skip 5/10 seconds" key and didn't stop until the end. Everyone was a complete charisma black hole, pretty amazing Surprised

Shawn Shei and the legend of the 10 BMW's: 5/10. Appaling music and Kate has the voice of a cheese grater. The rest of the cast could barely hold the few decent scenes together.

Good, if not a bit depressive but really well made movie. Kudos for Thomasin and Anya!

The Japan guy (Hiroyuki Sanada) is pretty cool. They should have focused on him, rather than the talentless young hacks.

Enron - The Smartest Guys in the Room (2005)

Not a movie but a doc, don't know if it counts Question

7/10

Pretty great summary of it, but it rushed a few things, like lacking simple explanations to make it more accessible on the financial parts.

Otherwise a pretty solid watch.

Worst editing so far. It all felt so plastered there... FX, situations, "humour"... BAD.

If you like this kind of stuff you should definitely check out Coherence from 2013. It's a lot better and more fucked up.

Actors worked well in it if I recall correctly.
They were just normal people doing normal things in a crazy situation.

Last Night in Soho

5 / 10

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9639470/

Amazing start, unfortunately movie goes away from Musical and by midpoint transforms into utter shite Scream-but-with-ghosts like borefest. Whole hour of constant running and screaming Sad Crying or Very sad

/me looking for this word in da dictionary... ...hmm. Nope, nothing.

Just like the thought that was put into writing this movie. None. Nothing. Nope.

Woody was the second best thing in the movie.
1st was the vfx artist who did that one scene that looked cool and a comic book cover come to life.

Watched it again since I forgot 95% of it, and it's still a Cohen masterpiece.
So many laughs to be had. GREAT performance across the board.

What a gem.

Weak story, but nice shots throughout the movie. Sound effects could also be better during the war scenes.

Watched Parallel - really enjoyed it, kept me interested all the way through. Gets an extra half point from me for having Tyrell from Mr Robot. With a 5.8 on IMDB I would not have watched this without the recommendation.

Will give Coherence a blast soon - downloaded years ago just never got round to watching.

No time to die - 6/10
Went for it with no expectation and it end up somehow enjoyable. Still very uneven movie - one one side tried to be straight on the other it vibed the over the top of original bonds in the end going nowhere.

And in this vein I didn't know if the over the top acting of the villains was on purpose or just bad acting while most things were tense and serious.

Cast a deadly spell - 5/10
It was cool concept but somehow the movie wasn't as engaging as I was expecting.

No Time To Die: 7/10, i was surprised a billion dollars was invested in this movie as I thought interest in Bond had waned. It had a lot of shortcomings, I couldn't buy the family-centric themes of the final 30 mins, and I didn't feel Rami Malek was that strong either but by no fault of the actor. All and all i did enjoy it though, the cinematography and celebration of all things British was very enjoyable.
