Here are some advantages of WinRAR compared to 7zip:
1. Can open and process tar+gz and similar compressed tars directly instead of unpacking tar to temp dir and then opening it.
2. Can handle multivolume archive on several removable drives directly instead of requiring all parts to be copied into the same folder first.
Not much in general, but I find it useful on almost daily basis.

Winamp 5.666 (updated) still works perfectly here (at home) and there (cocktail bar where I'm the manager), both with latest Windows 10 Pro. Also, if you need a really updated Winamp alternative, with bells & tinkles, try WACUP https://getwacup.com
