The game is entertaining, but it's nothing special. It's buggy and has a dull story.
It's silly with it's special forces, all you have to do is run a couple of meters out among the trees and you lose them..lol! What a shitty special forces!
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

Thanks to the poster who mentioned ubi+ as a cheap means of playing this since no eyepatch version. Paid the $15, finished FC in about a week... fun for what it is... I'm not into clearing maps of POIs, but doing things like taking over a whole base with having only your dog taking out everyone was pretty fun.
But once I finished it, I had like 3 more weeks of Ubi+ for that $15 so I knocked out Valhalla too. They were entertaining enough for what they were, and I can say I feel I got my money's worth out of it. (I had never played any of those series except the original FC, and the only other ubi game I've ever played was Horizon ZD.)

That's pure gold.
And it's saying so much about the industry.
Not just the industry. People want this shit. Maybe not the ones close to you, but there is a lot of complaints if a game isn't open world. There is a lot of complaints if it's open world with not enough activities. And you can't just make 5000 completely different activities in a giant open world.
I just wish they'd get back to linear and semi open world again. Open is fine sometimes, but when every big game is "open world" then it's.......
Weird on allocating space. I had about 150gb on the drive I used and had no issue installing it.
That said, I played for an hour or so, uninstalled it and put far cry 5 back on. 6 wasn’t terrible but some of the aspects of it just wasn’t doing it for me is all. Shrug.

Who cares about gameplay. It's one of the few next-gen looking titles out there so BRING IT ON.
All FarCry 2+ games have a boring component to them.
I consider a win even if only my first 4-5 hours are fun, as I probably didn't even paid for that Ubi game.
All Far Cry games had plenty of boring components to them. Period.
Remember Far Cry 1? Oof. It was a cool game, at first - kind of the Crytek problem though, they lose themselves in the later half with all the alien/sci-fi shit. Most people just remember the first levels, just like in Crysis, because it becomes tedious quickly afterwards.
Far Cry 2 had a lot of cool concepts but ultimately was a big world filled with nothing, 90% of the game was easily forgettable. I remember the game like a fever dream.
Have you read it? They are not, this is about FC6 compared to previous games.
I admit that I skimmed it and apologize for the clickbait title I assumed they were going to update. However, I forget this is an Ubisoft game and should have accepted the fact that nothing ever gets improved in these games.

They do improve it!
The numerous bugs I have submitted to them for FC6 were fixed. They really excell at fixing bugs.
And now that I have played Horzion Forbidden west, I would say that it is on par quality wise.
And upon playing numerous other "recent "titles as well FC6 is still in a better shape/quality then most of the games out there.
Are they really surprised to find that players rarely finished a tower in stealth mode? As gamers, aren't we conditioned that we'll probably have to stealth kill the first couple enemies, get to higher ground, maybe have to melee, and then take out others with a sniper rifle. Certainly as you start getting through main campaign you want to take advantage of the upgrades and skills that you've racked up that make towers a breeze to get through. Yes, you probably could easily stealth liberate all the towers, but it takes time and patience, Why would you do that when you have silencers, power and range?
Why would you waste anymore than €1+ which is the price at plati.ru? I got it from there and played till the end without any issues. Sure you don't have online but who cares? Game is just like previous ones with minor changes.
It might sound dodgy but plati worked fine for this. Now I'm considering getting DL2 unless there is a very very good offer somewhere.
