I just posted this in the deal thread, but once you bought the thing you did, you can buy Ultimate on top for another 1€/$ and get 4 months Ultimate for 2€.

Canada here, bought the regular game pass for Pc for 3 months at 1$ and upgraded to ultimate for 1$ giving me 4 months on ultimate like stated previously.

Bought the Upgrade premium bundle for game pass edition for 53$.

Im a pretty happy camper!! Very Happy

Pre-loading FH5 now.

I'll upgrade to Game Pass Ultimate when my normal Game Pass period is over to get that extra month. If you buy the normal Game Pass and instantly upgrade to Ultimate is will just convert your existing time to Ultimate (which in itself is useless imho, there are no Ultimate perks I'm interested in). Perhaps I've got it wrong but that's what I assume after reading the descriptions for each offer.

On the other hand I may do as I did when I started playing FH4, sub Game Pass for a while and buy the game if there's a sale at some point.

It will add the month. I bought normal Gamepass yesterday and then upgraded to Ultimate. End date is now March 4th for me.

The engine sounds is something they put a LOT of work into after the severe criticism about the engine sounds in FH4 which was really bad with a set number of engine sounds (some of them seemingly generated by their sound guy rather than having been recorded from a real engine/car) being used for ALL cars. You could change from a super-car to a truck and have the exact same engine sound.

Well, thanks for being a beta tester. (we're all going to be beta testers so they can fix all the issues that will be reported).

Will be interesting to see what kind of quality I can use on my aging rig (6-core 8400, overclocked 1060, 16GB RAM...). With FH4 I can set nearly everything to Ultra/Extreme and get perfect 60fps without any dips whatsoever while also having tweaked the Nvidia profile with profile inspector to improve AA etc.

I don't want to pay for Game Pass Ultimate and if I remember correctly we can't downgrade to Game Pass Standard. I think I did the same thing last time I went through this process... As soon as the sub ended I could sign up for Game Pass Standard. Not sure I will though since, if I really like it, I may simply buy FH5 which will be cheaper in the long run. If I keep paying monthly for ~5-6 months I've paid what the game actually cost (which is dumb since I'm not particularly interested in any other game using a Game Pass).

I preordered this in Iceland a few months ago. I think it was around 58 € for the Ultimate Edition. Either way, runs beautiful, everything maxed out @1440p with about 90-120 FPS.

The engine sound is kinda wonky, not as pronounced as I'd like it to be and they sound a bit off when comparing them to the RL version.

Even though I'm kinda all-in in New World (almost 400hrs played thus far) I do find it enjoyable to do a race in between to relax a bit. Smile Visually stunning and gameplay is ok, always something to do. I hope it doesn't get old too quick.

Now I wonder how the new Fable is going to look like as it's also in development by Playground Games.

Gamepass wont unlock the game until the 9th since it only contains the base version of the game.
