is there any solution to fix stuttering, no matter the graphic details, it stutters a lot.
Why walk, when you can ride.

A lot ? It should have some minor stutters now and then that are native to the engine, but not a lot. Turn off detail textures. I also saw someone claim they had stutters and they were gone after installing the nvidia driver that got released yesterday i think

Will try, thanks.
EDIT: New nvidia drivers helped a lot, really rare micro stutters now. But, what is weird that in task manager far cry is using 30% of gpu, and ubisoft connect is also using 40-50% of gpu, why in the hell ubisoft connect is using gpu, strange.

It stuttered and became janky prior to the NVidia drivers yesterday. Noticed it the night before. I'll turn off the detail textures. It just started to get worse and worse. First thing I thought of was maybe the added HD Texture Pack I installed but my friend in coop last night was telling me that the pack was for 4K which I don't have any way (I wasn't paying attention when I installed the pack when I installed the game). Anyway, the night I was playing, the game started becoming jerky like every time I turned, there was a delay and a stutter. Wasn't smooth as it was before, and it was even worse in firefights and in towns. This is on a RTX 2070 and a 5600x Proc with 32 GBs of RAM. But starting out with whatever the game settings went with, it was smooth.

Well the HD Texture pack really requires more than 8GB VRAM, which is really silly. And it seems to me, they really didn't look at the game wiith just high texture settings, without the HD pack. Character and item textures are quite blurry, even the weapon textures look really low res... I'm sure they could have kept higher res textures for important, high-visibility stuff, and use lower res for environment details and such.
Otherwise I like it, runs super smooth, looks great in HDR, more of the same, but on a rainy cold autumn evening, shooting my way through a south american island feels like a nice vacation.

Still had a choppy experience after taking things down from Ultra to High and shutting off Textures and uninstalling that Texture Pack. Buddy said try uninstalling the game and reinstalling it. Weird too because it's the only game I've had these issues with. Think I'll check out their forums and see if anyone else is reporting this issue on Win 11 too before I try that.
Again, was working fine at the start; just started becoming gradually worse after a week went by and before I installed those updated drivers and made any changes to the drivers.

Fixes the FOV by removing the artificial 51 FOV cap in certain scenarios: driving a vehicle, a horse, fishing and so on.
The actual FOV will now always correspond to the FOV the user has selected in their settings. |

3090 is not needed. The small stutters when walking the world are inate to the engine. According to the pc dude at DF, they exist on consoles in the same way as they do on pc, they exist in FC 4 and 5 as well.
In addition to that, the game seems to have vram allocation issues on nvidia and older radeon cards. The only ones that dont are rdna2 cards. Best solution so far is to disable the hd pack. I only noticed ocassional very small bulges on the frametime graph this way, not really bothersome. They're not huge spikes that stop the gameplay

This game defintiely is not well optimized. Im running it on a RTX3080 with a 10900k at 5.4Ghz. The game cant seem to surpass 130fps max while GPU loads are sometimes in the 70%-80% and one of my CPU core utilization is at like 97%. Now matter how low I put my visual setings to, I cant get it past 130 range
Sometimes it will dip from like 130fps -> 109fps. These crazy dips feel like micro stuttering

The first couple of times I played this in coop it worked great, but yesterday we kept getting weird bugs. Everytime we entered vehicles it changed resolution aspect and at random moments we got 3rd person view.. there was also some problem for both of us that the for some reason we could not climb up or down once we had grabbed a ledge.
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.
