I saw it mentioned on another forum that the new storage and download manager messed up a users Surviving Mars mods as they stopped working with the new Steam beta but would work again when they went back to the old client. It could have just been some random beta oddness so hopefully it does not affect anything else as it does seem odd that the change would affect the Workshop stuff or the like.

Anyone else having issues sending gift cards from their main Steam account to Uncle Diego in Argentina? Both me and my mate have tried but now get the following:

yeah it's been discussed here. gifting between regions seems to be mostly blocked atm
don't know if it'll be back. for now, you can buy arg steam codes online for 10$ per 1000 pesos

So what's the status on loading up your wallet with ARPesos? Still blocked to ARPesos gift cards that you have to buy online, with a "nice" markup?

Status is:
- topping wallet via CC is still not working
- gift card gifting from another account neither
- no idea about "inter-regional" gift cards and I'm not risking my money with that
- bought a couple 1000ars cards from eneba, problem solved... for now.

I currently pay 22,30 usd for 2000 ARS, that's with fees included.
2000 ARS is 20,40 USD.
Yeah, I think that I still prefer to pay that 1.90 and get at least a 50% discount on the game . And even if you pay a bit more you're still ahead. Pathfinder WOTR for example cost me 1999ARS, so let's say 22,30 USD. It's regular price is 49,99$/49,99Eur.

What about....
Buying a random 1-2 cent CSGO weapon skin from the market, relisting it for a random sum that you want, then buying that skin with an alt account?
Gaben gets a cut but it's something....

Yeah, lol. Thanks, I'll stick to buying ARS gift cards from reputable sites.
I did transfer some money to my diego account in a similar way (buy skins/keys on one account, transfer them to Argentina, wait a fucking week, sell) but you lose around the same amount of money on is as you would if you just bought the gift card. And you have to wait a week.
So that will be a last resort if Steam stops third party sites from distributing gift cards.

Same here, keys are my usual malparido wacho currency. The process is rather cushy all things considered and in the end it all evens out. |

Yup, same here. There are tons of games that are very much suited for the handheld style of gaming.
I got Switch because of that, but It's kinda annoying that I can't transfer saves between platforms for most of the games.
