It actually makes a bit sense since IGN is dropping 10s Very Happy

Is it really that weird though? It's just a roguelite afaik and you'll probably suck for the first 100 tries. I can't stand these games

Its not a roguelite. Its a regular game, but with a more unique game loop

66% positive on Steam.

Asian reviews on Steam say that it runs like shit on PC. Gmanhacks in his reviews says so too.

Well I better look for that 4790K replacement.

Am enjoying it so far. Very nice to explore. If you liked Dishonored, you will like this too. Very Happy

Performance does drop outside but indoors is pretty smooth.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

At least for nvidia drivers almost never make a difference unless you are on the newest architecture or the game has some serious performance degrading issues related to the driver or api which is extremely rare so don't expect anything if you don't own a 3xxx card.

It has shock-esque gameplay.

The performance is not very good.

It's all over the place sometimes, from 140fps to 70. I also had a moment when the game had some serious freezes. The most annoying thing is that it stutters the way Dishonored 2 did at launch. I saw plenty of people complaining about this on Steam forums.

I didn't even play much, but I can already say that the AI is questionable. I killed like 30 enemies by abusing a door which apparently they couldn't pass through. There's not even a difficulty level to force you to play more cautiously.

yeah, after the first initial area when you reach the city the framerate jumps all over the place. Seems its an issue with more open spaces in this engine. The AI might be by design, for some reasons that are gonna be clear later on, reading from forums. We'll see

Reads like Dishonored 2 at the time of release. And WELL after the release, at least for the stuttering because it took a long while for that one to be solved.

Game looks dated so logically it should run fine on dated hardware but it doesn't even run well on high end and that's on Arcane they used the same shitty engine as Dishonored 2 only this time optimization is even worse.

It doesnt look dated. Its actually impressive looking in certain areas. The textures are incredibly detailed and crisp. Its a case where youtube compression didnt show the game well. I certainly found myself admiring the crispness of its visuals more than once

Game looks fun, the loop isn't on an actual timer so no rushing gameplay required.
Too bad for Denuvo.

My copy arrives for PS5 today. I came here to see if people are enjoying it but nearly everyone is just complaining about performance lol. Sorry, not to troll, but for us simple console folk, I wondered if anyone is actually enjoying?
